Holds or not, Mahomes s the most incredibly talented player I’ve ever seen. Who knows what his career will hold when all is said and done, but I’ve never seen a more talented player.
At just the QB position? It's hard to compare across eras and other positions...but Barry Sanders did some things I've never seen anyone else do.

“Chiefs Kingdom” would seem to mix and match social systems.

If the Chiefs won the toss in OT of the AFCCG and went down and scored a TD, nobody would have given a shit about rules being “unfair”

So sick of hearing about that

These are not your older brother’s Colts. I don’t think they have the talent to contend, but Frank Reich is doing a helluva job maximizing what they’ve got.

I wasn't paying attention. What did he mention, the overtime rule?
Of course. "I think the game would still be going on right now..."

Maybe the Chiefs wouldn't have had to hope for a coin flip result if Mahomes had scored a single point in the first half of that game.

Hmm... I never heard a whistle, Matheiu kept running, and I didn't really see him get touched. We might be seeing a replay that he went all the way for a TD. Or not, but maybe.

edit: I must have been seeing things

They also had time to run one more play before kicking the field goal to tie it at the end of regulation. >10 seconds. I was scared shitless they would.

He's not even putting a moderate, sensible amount of ketchup on his steak. He's squeezing the ever-loving-fuck out of the bottle.

Funny how no one cares about the OT rules until they benefit the Pats. Furthermore, maybe we wouldn’t have gone to OT if Mahomes and his unstoppable offense had put up a single point in the first half. At home. In Arrowhead’s first ever AFCCG.

Mahomes obviously has a great arm and is athletic but what sets him a bit apart is having those attributes and still keeping his eyes down field and being able to anticipate receiver movement as he moves around and escapes. It’s impressive

CC thinks they would have gone for it from their own 23 in a 10-10 game with four minutes left in the first half? You serious, b?
