It’s a good time to switch QBs and say there was “no point” in leaving Max out there.

Not really Mac’s fault, but if he gets the ball there quicker, the defense is not as close. You can’t have YAC with balls like that.

What I was saying was they should have ruled a play that close a turnover so they it would be reviewed no matter what.
Agreed, I think the officials are actually told to do that. IS CFB Rules here today?

Here's the thing with Zappe. He may be worse than Mac, but at least his throws look professional. If we are going to suck I'd rather see a "pretty" ball missing receivers over Mac's back footed floaters missing receivers

That's a directive from the league, is that if it is even close treat it like a valid turnover. So a miss by the refs on the call itself, plus even if it is a 25% chance he caught it they should have let it play out. It's academic, but would appreciate it if the Pats were the only ones mailing it in today.

This team is an embarrassment and BB should have his GM duties stripped today so someone else can start the rebuild process. If he doesn’t like it, retire

I have to think Bill knew Mac was not the guy before this season. He wants a top five pick so he can grab another quarterback but he will probably then trade back into the second round so we can reach for another placekicker.

I was listening on the radio near the end of Q2 and Zolak said O'Brien had his face in his hands and Belichek was kneeling in front of him with his hand on his shoulder as if consoling him.
