Here
And take a 4th round OL in the mid first.
Lost amidst all the anger is the fact BB was a pretty tremendous GM for about 17-18 years before the last 5 years of suck.

It’s probably time to move on, but I’ll defend his overall GM record to the death.

Fair but it’s worth remembering that Parker has never been good and never will be good. His one productive season came when he got a billion balls thrown his way.

Bill extending him for real money is the kind of act that gets an old person’s keys taken away.
Oh man this line is great

Mac has hit receivers in the hands often this year and they’ve made maybe one or two plays all year.
I would love to see a Dafoomie compilation of dropped passes over the last two years. It’s been unbelievable, the number of just egregious and pivotal drops on eminently catchable balls.

There’s never just one reason for a loss. Mac did not play well, but played well enough to have a decent chance to win, given how awful Vegas was in the red zone. This fucking team needs to stop getting its ass kicked early. They are always chasing the game and leaving zero room for error.

Hunter Henry holding a guy and taking a 74 yard touchdown off the board didn't help either. How do people feel about this game if that play stands, Parker makes that catch and the Pats win?

Mac wasn't good today. Better than the last two weeks, obviously, but part of why they were in the position where the Parker drop matters is because he sucks.

This is a lost season. Maybe they will fire Bill, maybe they won't, but very little of what happens from here should have bearing on that. The Krafts are smart enough to know they're better off picking 2 than 10.

I suspect we’d still find a way to blow the game. Because the QB is almost irrelevant at this point. The other 10 guys on O are so fucking bad.

Elliott looked very good today. Ran with power and that 74 yard TD catch that got called back was amazing by him. He’s their best player on offense by a wide margin right now.

Mac threw a good ball at the end and didn’t get it. That’s a tough catch even with a well placed ball. He still had 3 other attempts on the drive and the offense moved backwards, ending in a safety.

He was not good

That’s not a tough catch for an nfl receiver. No excuse for dropping that ball

(and I’m as anti-Mac as they come)

where the darn libs live
The truth of the NFL is that there will be drops and mistakes and the QB has to go and make another play and he promptly took a delay and then a safety.

He fucking blows. Get him gone.
Yes don’t get me wrong, he gone from a good rookie to a mediocre player to a terrible one. But his weapons are awful and he’s regressed. Start Malik and see what happens.

I kind of don’t get this logic. If Mac is bad because the line can’t block and he has no weapons, why would you ruin another QB by putting him out there with that?

For me you try to isolate variables and see just how bad Mac is versus everyone else. Roster needs a ton of turnover they need to know if anyone on that offense is a keeper so it would be useful to see them with a different QB imo

This has been my point. He makes bad decisions but I think he's so sped up because the receivers suck and he thinks he's about to get hit at any moment. Don't know anybody who would thrive in that environment.

There was a play late in the game where he rushed a bad throw to the right from the pocket because he was anticipating a rusher coming through the line to his left. It didn’t actually happen, our LT managed to hold the rusher off. But it was so apparent that Mac was mentally flinching.

He's hearing footsteps that aren't there, I don't blame him for that.

He’s done it his whole career, including when his line play was ok. His pocket presence is trash, as is his footwork.

The funny thing is he didn’t hear footsteps on the safety when the rush was right in front of him. He definitely had at least time to hit Rham for 5-8 yards and set up a 4th and 7-8.

Because he isn't bad just because the line can't block and he has no weapons, he also compounds all of those issues by sucking. I actually caught myself going "huh, the ball actually comes out of his hands nicely" about Brian Hoyer, that's how broken my standards for QB play are due to watching this kid look like a jittery mess with a wet noodle for an arm out there week after week.

I had similar thoughts about Tyrod during the last drive last night. Stepped up in the pocket to avoid the rush, and threw a crisp, unlofted pass for a gain.
