Fuck that. You’re not a fan. No fan roots for their team to lose. That’s weak bullshit.
Fuck that. You're not a fan. No fan roots for their team to be perpetually mediocre. That's weak bullshit.

Can we stop judging people's fandom now? Everyone is here because they love the team. I like wins. I'd like to see a lot more of them in the future.

Weak as shit. Your brain so so big that you know what a game in week 7 means for the draft. Look at the big brain on RI Rooter everyone.
Fuck off telling people how to enjoy watching sports. You think I’m the egomaniac in this situation?

No they’re not. A few folks here are mad because we beat the Bills in week 7. It’s pathetic.

If they can beat Miami next week, the entire season can be turned around considering that their schedule gets easier for a few after that.

Mac was awesome in the second half, by the way. The numbers were very good. They had four second half possessions:

TD
FG
Fumble by Bourne
TD

And to top it all off, he had an epic last minute drive for the winning touchdown.

Good for Mac. Dude has had a bunch of poo slung at him the last few weeks. He never buried his head in the sand. Offensive line was great today. Allowed for the run game and passing game to execute.

Honestly, he’s deserved every bit of it, but the fact he shook it off and balled like this today is legitimately impressive.

To be fair, Mac has been slinging poo at everyone for the better part of a season+

That was fun, Buffalo is wasting a great QB.
He is excellent, I'd take him in a cocaine heartbeat - be he's been off. And he's not super trustworthy imo, I dunno. He makes boneheaded mistakes a lot.

Big man from Fairfield, want to meet up?
Thanks to you, the secondhand embarrassment is now through the roof in this thread.

I get wanting the higher draft pick, but not after a game like this. This is just the type of win they were in desperate need of. Late, against a very good team, I mean, if you can't enjoy this one it's a pretty fucking miserable existence as a fan. Let's save the hand wringing for March.

It gets so much easier the rest of the year, the people rooting for them to lose don't seem to realize that. 7 of their last 10 are against teams that could at best be described as mediocre. This team was never going to win 2-3 games all year no matter what happened today.

Probably going try to listen while doing yard stuff. Over/under on Zolak making me switch to music is 10 minutes.

He's become the giy in the bar watching the game that will make you give up bars and watching.
So...finished the yard around halftime. Zolak his annoying self. Came inside and put on TV. Buffalo started rampaging on their 1st drive, so I sucked it up and synced radio and TV. Obviously, my heroic efforts to endure Zolak paid off.

Eh they still may. I mean if we look at the totality of the season, anywhere from 3 to 11 wins now seems possible depending on which team shows up.

Did you see those five incomplete passes?
I thought this was interesting too because I was really frustrated with the end of the half drive but as always, it’s more complicated than Mac Jones did something stupid

This was the first time we have played the bills in the last few years when I didn’t feel like we were outclassed.

what the fuck is wrong with Dugger? He looks so slow out there

I enjoyed it but I'd rather see a top 5 pick given the "opportunity" brought about the state of the O-Line and injuries to their best defensive players.

At least the Bears & Giants also won.

Hell of a win. Mac stepped up and delivered a signature win. If they can win next week, maybe things start to get interesting. Playing meaningful games is a lot more fun than the alternative.

Nailed that:

Receiver ran the wrong route, so Mac tried to hold onto it rather than throw it, and it just came out. Guessing receiver was supposed to run a stop after the sticks, and just kept going.
