INteresting challenge in Washington. Morris was tripped, but I think he tripped on his own guym which would mean fumble.

Hmm, not a great angle, but refs may have missed one.  That Bengals punt looked like it was downed inside the 1, but ruled a touchback.

Nevermind:  Toe on the line.

Time for another bullshit "enough time to complete a football motion" or whatever BS they have as the rule for an incompletion vs. a completion and fumble. They need to create a better rule.

Rams jumped on the 49ers last week also, then went away.

They've found ways to screw themselves up all season

LOL WTF just happened in St Louis?

The punt went right, Austin lined up left and pretend he was going to catch it in the left corner, the Seattle ST all ran after Austin, and the guy for the Rams on the right caught the ball and just ran free for a TD. Unbelievable. The cameraman completely missed it, too.

Holy shit, what a play by St. Louis.  The punt returner faked the catch on one side of the field, while the actual kick went the other way.  Defense was totally fooled, and the guy who actually caught it had nothing but open field in front of him.

Your entire coverage team has to have their heads up their asses to make that happen. Unreal

I have never seen anything like that before.

That ST guy wins coach of the week.

I wonder if it's the same ST coach who worked with Fisher during the Music City Miracle

I assume most of the cover guys just run for the return guy, but did no Seattle cover guys see the ball going to the other side of the field? That was crazy.

Aren't they supposed to have a little chat about where the kick is going, like, before the ball is punted?

Seattle has a lot of characters and a coach that let's them be them. If they start to lose, it could get interesting.

Fred Jackson out for the game.  CJ Spiller just breaks a 52 yard run down the sideline, gets tackled from behind and lands on his shoulder or something.  The cart is coming out.  Spiller is literally made of glass.  Anthony Dixon time.

Just watched another replay of the punt return. Carroll argued that Austin signaled for a fair catch, which I suppose would have meant a dead ball.

Spiller in tears, towel over his head, as he gets carted off.  Originally reached toward his shoulder, but not sure why the cart if it's a shoulder.  Weird scene.

Yaz, I think there was a fair catch signal made by the guy who faked like he was catching it, but does anyone know if that makes it a dead ball if someone else catches it?  Obviously, if another guy touches it, it's not a dead ball because it could be a fumble, but it doesn't seem like anyone knows the rule about whether or not someone else can return it.

That's the confusing part, for sure. The ref looked at Carroll and gave him a shrug.
