Can we talk about Indiana RB, Tevin Coleman for a second. Today, they got spanked by Michigan State, 56-14, but somehow, he managed to get 132 yards on the ground on 15 carries. He averaged 8.8 yards per carry. Which even more amazingly, is his season average. He now has 1,192 yards rushing on only 138 carries. It doesn't matter if Indiana is getting blown out, is in a shoot out, or if they are winning, he breaks off a long run every week. He has not had a single game in which he didn't have at least one carry that went for 43+ yards, and in a number of games, he's had 2 or 3 of them. Today, he went for 65 on his longest rush of the day. He now has 11 td's on the ground (today was the first game he didn't have one), and he's had at least 122 yards in every game this year. Today was his second lowest output in a tie at 132. His yardage by game on the ground, 247, 190, 132, 122, 150, 219, and 132, and he's played some decent defenses, like the Spartans today, @Missouri, Maryland and @ Iowa. He's pretty amazing to watch, so if you get a chance to see Indiana play, tune in and there is a pretty good shot you'll see him break a long one.
Did I mention that he's a junior, and he averaged 7.3 yards per carry last year on 131 carries? He missed the last 3 games due to injury last year. He now has 9 consecutive games with over 108 yards dating back to last year, and today broke his 16 consecutive game with a rushing td streak.
