That’s a 90-95 percent FGA, so it’s very defensible given the score.

The offsides on that shot play which stopped the clock was a killer.

It was defensible, though even the risk of a block (someone came pretty close) has to be included.

Plus the chance of getting the 1st (pretty high) and the fact that the Jets had to start deep in their territory if they were stopped.

I wasn't sure what I would do or what the #s say, but my initial instinct was might be good to just go for it.

I think the angle and trajectory of the kick made it look a lot worse than it was, but I still would’ve tried to get another 4-5 yards on first and second down.
