Can't believe they called that unsportsmanlike. You have to know you royally fucked up the end of the half. Can't wait to see this crew in the Super Bowl somehow.

Guys point "1st down" literally all the time. I guess you can't have the ball in your hand while pointing? Makes total sense, guys
The 'foul' was the ball was in someone else's face.. Sherman talking sh$t to Rex isn't taunting though.

mccoy could be playing for a ravens team with zombie peyton playing quarterback for a team coached by don shula with bill polian for GM and i would still love him. he's such a fantastic player.

McCoy and Sproles are two players you wish were on your team.

So, going back to the end of the first half, I believe that when Rex made the decision to run the spike play, the refs held up the play and restarted the play clock in order to replace the kicker ball with a regular ball. You can see the umpire (I think) toss the K ball out of play and replace it with another ball.

I wonder whether the officials taking 37 seconds to ready the ball for play before the delay of game was a result of having to put a K ball back into play. Especially in a case where the game clock isn't running, they really ought to rewind the play clock in order to switch to or from a K ball. They did it once but not the second time.

Nope you can. They called it as taunting the CB because he was there.
I guess, but that's not much better. Notes for defenders from this game:

1. Go ahead and get offsides to attack the kicker when the clock expires.
2. Notice when a guy is about to point "1st down", and stand between him and the end zone.

Sherman didn't say a word to Rex, just stared him down. Rex was the only one talking.
Ok... Sherman never taunts. If not on that play he's def. done it tonite. And Rex deserves anything he gets don't get me wrong..

Edit: the rule is arbitrary and absurd

He always talks. That was the beauty of that play, he didn't have to say a thing, just let Rexy get all worked up.

You can pretty much scheme running plays to leave one guy unblocked because McCoy is most likely dancing around him anyway.

I wonder if they went for two because Carpenter is hurt. That's not a typical situation for going for two.

Naturally, no goal line view on that one? Fuck you ESPN
The league could pay for goal-line cams with the money they make from ads during lengthy reviews, but then the cameras would shorten the review time and lose the ad money. It's a classic Was-That-A-Catch-22.

Classic bad spot.

If they review this for Carroll can they re-spot the ball even if he was reviewing for whether or not it was a catch? I feel like that would be fair.

Bills need to dink and dunk this clock all the way down because you know they will commit multiple terrible penalties to put Seattle in field goal range.

Swing and a miss by Glenn.

Buffalo just let a good 20 or so seconds run off the clock for god knows what reason while getting ready to punt.
