The Cubs are a bully team. If you let them get up on you early, they're hard to stop. But I'd bet if the Indians can somehow get this game tied, the Cubs will tighten up.
You could argue that he's had a slow hook with his starter in each of the past 3 gamesSending Kluber out there was a really odd decision by Tito. Tito feeling the pressure, making poor choices.
Where's Luis Gonzales? The Cubs are a bully team. If you let them get up on you early, they're hard to stop. But I'd bet if the Indians can somehow get this game tied, the Cubs will tighten up.
Bringing in Lester with runners on seems suboptimalBad idea to bring Lester in immediately...you gotta let Hendricks go until he shows signs of struggling.
I'd probably be pretty excited about the score if it wasn't for Chapman. I might be ok if he doesn't get in but I doubt that happens regardless of the score.May not need Chapman the way this game is going.
Buck's constant overreaction to every ball put in play is making me miss the 1996 - 2003 Buck who openly rooted for the Yankees.THAAAT'S!!
foul
His spot with Katie Nolan made him seem likable as well.Rizzo seems likable.
I agree with that, too.Bringing in Lester with runners on seems suboptimal
Seems like he Is over reactive for Cubs only.Buck's constant overreaction to every ball put in play is making me miss the 1996 - 2003 Buck who openly rooted for the Yankees.
Yea no nothing indicated Miller would give up runs. He was rested. Tito fucked that up but it probably goes unnoticed now. That might be why Playoff Tito had a slow hook
Tito might have had that feeling also. The fourth is pretty damn early to bring him in.I had a feeling Miller would finally crack tonight. Wow.
This is tough to bring up here, but my point of reference for how much Buck has changed his style is the helmet catch - he called that like it was a routine play in the regular season. He used to sound perpetually bored by the games he called, but now he goes over the top with excitement. It's definitely a conscious choice he made at some point.Buck's constant overreaction to every ball put in play is making me miss the 1996 - 2003 Buck who openly rooted for the Yankees.
