Didn't see that, was on the phone. Taken back.He literally had an in-person meeting with the third base coach right before the squeeze.
There is exactly zero chance he did that on his own.

All the former Sox adds a ton of intrigue for me, too.Not that this really matters, but this game is CLEARLY better than 1997's game 7. Which was a pretty great game in its own right. But still, the storylines, the talent, the wackiness, and the comeback easily vault this game over 1997's finale.
I never thought I'd see a worse in-game manager than Gump.
I have tonight. Maddon's topped him.
Posts like this make me wish we had a like button of some sort.Almost a Luis Gonzalez flare, except the Indians have a shortstop to play defense.
You mean the Bill Mazeroski walk-off.Who gets the Joe Carter walkoff?
Davis did.Can Napoli make up for an awful, awful, series? We'all soon see,
I'm glad you said thisLike Maddon could be killed if they lose this, right?
He went thru something similar to this before it worked out okWould love to be watching this with Theo
Grady's cumulative body of work still stands alone, but for single-game Peak Mismanagement, he's surely giving Gump a run for his money.I never thought I'd see a worse in-game manager than Gump.
