Sure. But only thing that matters is where Lebron wants to goFair enough. The Lakers could offer the Cavs more in a S&T deal, right?
Jinx.I mean, Tatum hasn't had a 1-11 on 3PA stretch in his entire career
How about a 24-2 run for the Cavs with James on the bench.Fair enough. The Lakers could offer the Cavs more in a S&T deal, right?
On another note, how will Milwaukee blow this lead to the Cavs?
Ridiculous. Wade with a triple. As another side note, he is the only player in the NBA I simply cannot stand (I cannot forgive what he did to Rondo and never will). I would rather watch anyone else win another ring than him.How about a 24-2 run for the Cavs with James on the bench.
I agree. I can't think of another player that I dislike as much as him.Ridiculous. Wade with a triple. As another side note, he is the only player in the NBA I simply cannot stand (I cannot forgive what he did to Rondo and never will). I would rather watch anyone else win another ring than him.
No. We have the Lakers pick we acquired from them.Outscored 30-17 in the 4th quarter. Back to back losses, to the Bulls and the Kings.
Don't we get their pick if it's in the 2-5 range?
I think Harden was glad to get away from OKC when he had 2 other players that wanted the ball a lot. He just added Paul. I can't imagine he'd want LBJ there as well. That's be interesting.Unless I'm missing something, if Cleveland plays ball on a sign-and-trade (as they did with Miami), then Houston can re-sign Paul and Capela, and then trade Anderson/Gordon/picks for LeBron.
Ah yes. It's next year, when it would be the worse of the Sixers or Kings, unless it's #1.No. We have the Lakers pick we acquired from them.
They need a better coach.Milwaukee is disappointing. I thought they may surprise people in the East, especially with Bledsoe but they need more scoring. I suspect they will be buyers when the Lou Williams market heats up over the next few weeks
In fairness, they’re going to be getting a young 20ppg scorer back soon.Milwaukee is disappointing. I thought they may surprise people in the East, especially with Bledsoe but they need more scoring. I suspect they will be buyers when the Lou Williams market heats up over the next few weeks
They are saying mid-February per tonight's broadcast on NBA TV. And he is going to need to show that last season's improvement from deep is for real. They still need more to make some noise imho.In fairness, they’re going to be getting a young 20ppg scorer back soon.
It's hard to see Lebron taking a discount to go to LA and, even if he did, there's no reason for LA to give up any talent or assets to get him. The sign and trade option is just the loophole that lets Houston acquire Lebron and keep their core intact. The options for the off-season that seem plausible at the moment are, he stays, he signs as a FA in LA or Philly, or he gets traded to Houston. Also, note, it's not a sign and trade. It's the Paul exception. He'd pick up his option, get traded before the start of the off-season, and be eligible for a super max in a year.Fair enough. The Lakers could offer the Cavs more in a S&T deal, right?

That's a really interesting example of a heat check, but I like his dedication to the form.My last NBA post of the evening. I thought this was amusing - please forgive me if others don't...
For those on mobile - from Ira Winderman who is the Heat beat writer:
"Dion Waiters said he threw up in the locker room after Monday’s first quarter. Said he got ill from eating too much spaghetti."
He finished 2-13. He was 3-15 the other night against OKC.Kings taking down the Embid-less 76ers

You sure that another game might not still be irritating you as well? Because you would not be alone...This game is irritating me.
The Rockets have been disproportionately terrible against teams that have been tanking on our behalf. They lost to the Nets twice last year I believe. This game is irritating me.

Paul went out with a sore knee and barely played in the second half. They were pretty depleted, but your point stands.Capela, who is having a great season is out. However, unless you can give me a credible, statistics-based argument about the importance of both he and Luc Mbah a Moute in terms of stopping a team like the Lakers, I submit that the Rockets are nothing more than a regular season juggernaut. They may not make it out of the semis again this year.
And Kyle Kuzma is not a future fourth option. He has number three or two potential right now.
Actually I didn't see the Paul injury - that is meaningful. However I would argue that his inability to stay on the court will also doom Houston. A healthy CP3 is a monster but the qualifier is increasingly less common over the past few years.Paul went out with a sore knee and barely played in the second half. Just for fun I'll point out that Gasol joined Magic, Bird and Jordan in getting his coach fired. Each situation is different, but just because a few people, including Brad, say Fizdale is wonderful doesn't mean he was faultless.Warriors inactive list tonight probably beats 90% of NBA teams: Curry, Livingston, Iguodala, Green, Pachulia.
They still grit-and-grind out their 10th straight v. Memphis, 97-84, holding the Grizz to a total of 10 field goals in the 2nd half.
I'd feel bad for Memphis if not for the idiotic Fizdale firing. Marc Gasol lost a lot of respect (from me, anyway) with that debacle.
This. Managing star players is, perhaps, the most important part of a head coach's job. The NBA is filled with coaches who are great at schemes/sets yet somehow lack the ability to manage people or deal with the egos of star players.Fizdale is well respected and has a good resume but unfortunately one of the most important aspects of NBA coaching is reaching star players and reports are that his relationship with Gasol was untenable from the start.
not sure who is better the Lakers or Nets? The Nets are absolutely destroying the Wizards in BKNY tonight - 116-82 with just over a minute to go. Nice pick you have there Cleveland. Be a shame if something happened to it...
Looking mighty mighty good if Danny can nab him somehowLou Williams can shoot
