Damn that was fast. Thanks.Gundy is wrong. A loose ball would be out of bounds if it touched a player out of bounds, but not a ball in possession.
Sideline warning is a 0 yard penalty for the first one, so they aren't working too hard.Refs just looking for a way to penalize Georgia
Cos Hurts sucks.Late to this party: why the QB switch for Alabama?
You'd think the sideline penalty on the TD before that would count as a warning.Sideline warning is a 0 yard penalty for the first one, so they aren't working too hard.
Hurts can't throw the ball.Late to this party: why the QB switch for Alabama?
Like someone told the coaches it was too boring and liven it up.Now this game is getting real crazy.
Hurts isn't a QBLate to this party: why the QB switch for Alabama?
Hurts is not a threat in the passing game. Missed some big throws in the first half. Nick went with the kid that can throw down 13 at half.Late to this party: why the QB switch for Alabama?
It hurts so badLate to this party: why the QB switch for Alabama?
The penalty was on the Georgia TD earlier in the 3rd quarter, assessed on the kickoff.Pat Fitzgerald said the sideline officials switch sides at halftime. I didn't know that. They said that might be why they got a warning this half after getting a penalty previously.
The 2 penalties were like 4 plays apart.Pat Fitzgerald said the sideline officials switch sides at halftime. I didn't know that. They said that might be why they got a warning this half after getting a penalty previously.
MIght be tough with freshman QBGeorgia pass rush is really getting the snap count timed up now. Alabama needs to start changing it up.
Interestingly, I think one difference between the NFL and college is that the pylon is out of bounds in college football but not the NFL. So if you touch it before scoring, I think you're OOB in college. Or I think it could theoretically be a safety in your own end zone. CFB Rules might correct me, though.Rule:
The streets? What streets?Sucker punch a guy in a helmet. That guy must be from the streets.
Huh?Sucker punch a guy in a helmet. That guy must be from the streets.
100% spot on. NFL pylon is semi out-of-bounds. If a loose ball touches the pylon the ball is dead, but anything else and it's in bounds. College it's treated like you stepped out.Interestingly, I think one difference between the NFL and college is that the pylon is out of bounds in college football but not the NFL. But in either league, if a squirrel were sitting on the sideline and you step on his tail, you are OOB.
Most likely, seems like Bama is full of tough guysWas that guy from the streets?
I'm confused by what "the streets" are. Most likely, seems like Bama is full of tough guys
