Don’t like the punt there with 15 minutes to play.

Scarborough has 3 runs for 7.7 a piece. Why are they not running more?

Also doesn't look good EMS is attending that kid on the Bama bench

Guys dropping on the sidelines is scary. Like heart attack scary.
Seemed like he was sitting up, but yeah, the urgency with which the medical staff was acting was scary to see.

If you’re gonna drop, a place like that is the best. Surrounded by top notch medical personnel and an ambulance standing by. Hmmmm.

This is why you don’t punt.

my wife is a paramedic who travels with the Texas football team. She's basically there for that exact scenario - crazy to see it happen during the national championship.

Was Edwards before or after Hearst?
Edwards was after Hearst. Hershel Walker owns all of their records, but the next 3 guys on just about every list are Chubb, Michel and Gurley. Gurley is obviously a stud, and jury is out on Michel and Chubb, but I think Michel will be a legit starting NFL back. Chubb I'm not as sure about.

It's so easy to forget that Gurley blew out his knee halfway through his junior year, and made the decision to go into the draft that year anyway. Kid made an Adrian Peterson like recovery from an ACL tear, and was starting for the Rams by week 3 the next season.

Edit: The Rams taking him 10th overall was not a consensus type pick at the time either. He's such a stud.
