The idea that Jacoby was going to be cut, even without last night's stellar performance, seems really out of whack to me. He's young, leadership up the wazoo, athletic-ish, strong arm. Yes, he's raw, but in his second year getting barely any reps, it's crazy to think they would have just given up on the guy without giving him a real look-see. In my opinion, he was never too close to not making the 53.
He may not wind up being Jimmy G 2.0, but there's enough there to justify a far longer leash than many people her assume(d) he has.
