The cradle of the game.
Picking nits for sure, but it's a shame the immediate celebration isn't a more a baseball-like team hogpile. But I guess the shooters have to get their shots.

That guy's a professional gambler, and he's that worked up about losing a $1,600 Super Bowl bet? He might want to think about a less stressful line of work.
My favorite part was when, about 10 seconds after saying he's unemployed, he said he lost $1600 on a Super Bowl bet.

Keep adding the amazing videos like Inside the NFL. I'm adding them to the SoSH repository as they appear!

This was our vantage of the winning TD:

Great video.

Question--to get this, aren't you paying more attention to keeping your phone steady and watching through phone as opposed to simply watching the game? I ask because I try to record my daughter playing soccer or whatever and I end up watching through small box and just kind of missing stuff.

I think it would have been if it was a clear TD, like if Brady had hit an open Matthew Lengel on first down instead of nearly giving us all coronaries. Brady screwed Lengel, and kept us from a hogpile! Why you gotta be such a hater, Tawmy?

It should have been Lengel...

I thought it was gonna be him when i saw him go in motion. I yelled "Lengel in the flat"

OK I'm now going to have to look at that play again.
I guess I have something in common with Brady, I never looked at Lengel on that play.

I actually don't think he was open. I watched one replay and think he ran across the middle and was covered. But when he motioned, i thought for sure he was gonna run out into the flat

This angle is amazing for watching players' reactions. I've legit watched it over a dozen times just picking out a player to focus on and watching them react.

One thing I've realized, those O-Linemen must have been just as tired as Atlanta's D. Solder meanders about, Thuney simply drops dead, and Mason looks like he's just happy the game is over. Cannon though, that dude has his conditioning on point. He ran about 60 yards to nobody and nowhere in particular.

Everybody talks about the defense getting tired out and being an easier prey when they're on the field a disproportionate amount of time, but never the offense. Super Nomario pointed out in one of the threads that the OLmen never sub out. Yeah, of course they get tired.

This video solves the mystery of what happened to the game ball; after White scored, he left it on the ground and ran into the end zone. In this video, watch the ball boy as he comes onto the field, scoops it up and runs towards the Patriots bench and then disappears............he either handed it off to someone on the Patriots bench or kept it.

Thanks for that; yup, that one gets to me for a number of reasons.

Long and Hogan, two first year Patriots hugging it out, Blount and his words to Belichick and Brady and the Slaters just showing raw emotion, a Father and a Son hugging and smiling.

By far the two of them together in victory is my favorite image.

And Brady hugging his Mom.

No words.

I wasn't filming, it was my buddy. In the few times I did attempt to film some stuff, the video was awful because I ended up watching the game and the camera was all over the place.

There is a shot from that Inside the NFL (reddit) showing the replay that is just iconic.

It's around 32:10 or 32:15, and it's a shot of Brady walking right to left across the screen (no one else in the shot) with the crowd behind him faded out. Just chill inducing.

You know who I haven't seen at all -- barely at all during the telecast on the sideline or in the post-game celebration stuff -- is Malcolm Butler. I know he was there, and there can't be camera on every single player on the team as they jump up and down and stuff, but it's kind of interesting how the cast changes. He had a pretty good game, except for one trip.

Really? I thought Butler was the worst of the 3 starting CBs
Well, I'm not comparing the three, but I'm having trouble remembering Butler giving up too many plays all game, and he was often without safety help. He had the one blown coverage on Gabriel, and a pretty bad PI short of the red zone third down short of the sticks. But other than that, Gabriel and Sanu were very quiet. I think the one other longish Gabriel catch was on Rowe, but I might be misremembering.

Video will surely come, but Slater had a great, calm, speech to Chung, 11, Lewis, and DA during pregame that NFL films just showed. Would love to see him get a spot on America's Game.

Yup, that was great. Reminding each player where they came from. Really good.

Brady telling the ref to not take it personally if he yelled at them was good too. He told the ref he could yell at him too if he wanted.

Edited to not post back to back.....

But man, Sanu Jr runs his mouth a lot.

I'm not really a fan of Blount the player but he seems like a good teammate.

Though I suppose the people in Pittsburgh would disagree.

Edit:Yeah so a different view of the Butler PI and it was pretty damned obvious.

Probably gonna be an unpopular opinion but I think Sanu has been hilarious in this thing. Especially on Freeman's TD where he just keeps talking to Logan Ryan by name throughout the whole play.

edit: Sanu calling for Jarrett to win MVP sounds JUST like Kearse calling for Matthews to be MVP during the 49 SoundFX

edit2: Watching Bryan Cox on the sidelines during SoundFX has me feeling like I'm seeing a ghost. He stood right next to Quinn the entire time, and celebrated with him during the pick 6. Wonder if he had any idea it'd be his last game..

He'd be the star of the show... if they won.

Since they lost he looks like an idiot IMO.

Ten seconds after saying the ball hit the ground Sanu then tells Julio that he told him he caught it.

Sanu is pure garbage. Everything people hate about WR from a guy with a mediocre game.

Eh, Sanu seems pretty cool to me. He's cocky, but good natured and not irrational.

Edit: I doubt he yaps any more than Edelman.

Man, that 5-7 second shot of Brady on the podium at the end, fighting back tears, was heavy stuff. He looked over at Bradshaw and Belichick at one point and smiled/laughed. But damn, he was fighting back tears big time.
