The NFL will grade that DPI call as correct. They want the flag anytime the DB uses his hands to prevent a receiver from getting two hands in the air. While obviously it didn't affect stride, he was grabbing (and maintained the grab for several steps) the wrist of the receiver. That's subtle, that's taught, and that's a foul
Then I hope the grades for the Pats/Bills game fail on all the missed DPI and incorrect OPI calls.

Geez, that's about as clean as a linebacker can come to a QB. Nobody touched him. Dalton is lucky to be getting up, never mind holding onto the ball.

I just think its' honestly incompetence. I think they are missing calls they should make, and making calls they shouldn't make. There is absolutely no consistency from play to play.
probably this. but it looks worse when a crew throws a lot of flags, because they invariably miss fouls that are more egregious than ones they already called.

also i do think home bias and team reputation are often a factor in-game with this stuff.

Yeah, I thought it was a good call.

I swear that the level of coaching going on with the special teams units around the NFL has to be the worst of any position group, college or pro. I mean, guys get called for such obvious holding, or blocks in the back that you wonder if anyone has ever actually explained the rules to them.

That's a head shot on a defenseless player. Would be an ejection in NCAA. Why the NFL won't adopt the college rule is beyond me.

And JuJu lays out Burfict, and Burfict is down. That's a dirty ass play. Looks like Burfict wants to get up, but the training staff is making him stay down.

He also got two penalties that, if on different plays, would have been an autoejection. But because one’s negated, he skirts?
