the bengals are going to lose this game but skullfuck every steelers skill player in the process.
It says something that as dirty of a player as Burfict has been that you see that and feel terrible for him.
Yeah, taunting should be a dead ball foul after the foul on the hit is assessed.

So this is what I was talking about in the Gronk thread earlier. Regardless of whether that was before or after the whistle, that's every bit as bad as what Gronk did, then he stood over him and reveled in his awesome knock-out hit.
You administer live ball fouls before comparing the spot to the line to gain.
Plenty of time left in the game for that; Roethlisberger has learned from the best in his own division to just heave the ball downfield and look for the DPI.
NFL needs to look in the mirror at this game. Monday night and it's terribly reffed, potentially affecting the outcome, and there's dirty hits every other play.
Probably. Stupid question, but why can’t they enforce 30 yards in penalties there? Why is one declined?
Shuster should be out of game for his own protection. Bengals are stupid enough to try to hurt him.
He hasn't been ejected because the fucking NFL hasn't adopted the college rule. In fact, if he didn't stand over him, and get the taunting call, he wouldn't be on the "first step" to an ejection, because the illegal hit isn't an "unsportsmanlike penalty" and you need two unsportsmanlike penalties to get ejected. The taunting was an unsportsmanlike so he's at least on the first step. The NFL has nobody to blame but themselves.
This montage of PIT-CIN vicious hits resulting in rule changes really is not a good look for the NFL...
It's to prevent a team from gaining an advantage on a foul. Let's say that was 4th down. You don't want them to gain a 1st down illegally and benefit from it.
It wasn't a head shot but it's an illegal crack back block. Those used to be popular on toss plays but no more. The reverse angle had JuJu's head across Burfict's chest barely making contact with his chin. But the blind blocks are very dangerous.
The best part is all the players wearing special shoes to promote charities while they’re trying to inflect violence.
