Kincaid looks great but he needs to get a lot smarter or he is going to spend a lot of time on the shelf. Just ask Gronk about opening yourself up to getting taken out low over and over again.
It's also clear Burrow is completely healthy with a ton of solid to great skill guys. Solid D too. Cincy is very good.
Why would you even challenge that. It was like a random 7 yard gain, and first down and you need timeouts.

Seeing Arthur Smith implode is more enjoyable that Josh McDaniels imploding.
Arthur Smith is a true NFL villain. He is just an obnoxious asshole in all circumstances.(much like Josh but worse because of his disdain for everything)
And he's losing games to bad teams and Qbs who literally didn't know the plays, the snap calls, or the NAMES of the guys he was throwing to.
I rarely chime in on NFL stuff, as I'm a Bills fan, but I need to scream into the void as much as possible lately. The Bills need to can McDermott. I'm eternally grateful for helping to get us back to the playoffs. And he's a decent coach, there are definitely worse out there. But he's Marvin Lewis. Just good enough to be decent, but they aren't winning a Super Bowl with him. It's infuriating.

He is rude to the media in a way that is douchy and off putting. He's also a jerk and condescending. I guess he's trying to be Belichick but it's worse because it's not tight lipped, it's dismissive and obnoxious.
Anyway, go to the Falcons reddit (Sons of Alfred Jenkins) if you want to go deep into the Arthur Smith experience. It is hilarious. He is hated by everyone. Falcons fans, NFL fans, fantasy fans, the sports media. Nepo baby asshole.

Derrick Henry got older, Tannehill couldn't stay healthy, and they traded AJ Brown.
Smith had a good offense in Tenn like Gase had a good offense with Peyton Manning.
Tannehill was a career bottom-mid tier QB who became the best QB in the league on a per-throw basis in 2019 and followed it up with another excellent year in 2020. Smith might be a shitty head coach and a dick, but he absolutely deserves credit there.
I mean... AJ Brown was on the team the year after he left, Tannehill played every game. Admittedly Henry got hurt, but even before that, the downgrade in coaching/playcalling from Smith to Downing was significant.
Smith may well be a bad head coach, but he was a very good OC. Honestly they had a surprisingly good offense last year in ATL for a team starting a completely done Mariota. He's a particularly good designer of running games.
Smith strikes me as diet McDaniels. Guys who are good (Josh is probably better) OCs, who aren't cut out for the HC job.
If only they had drafted a guy in the first round last year with the 8th pick who could be utilized in those designs. That would be awesome for the team, I'm sure. But they picked a running back with the 8th pick.

Smith is 18-24 as a head coach in an atrocious division. He is also an asshole. You might be right about the McDaniels comp. He's not a leader by any stretch of the imagination. But he could probably do ok going back to OC.
