He must be amazed by how bad our pitching is compared to his comrades on his team in the WBC.
At some point you have to expect them to pitch better, but that point may be too late.
You can do what I do and become a bandwagon Celtics and Bruins fan in the playoffs. Its not perfect but it’s not a bad life.
The advanced models probably show Sale as unlucky right now, right? Everything in play is a hit, every fly ball a homer.

What has always blew my mind is how you can have a pitcher like Sale who was a bonafide ace - who can slip just a little and be bottom 5 in the league.
Then you have joe average bums on other teams who skate by with Pivetta results. Why can’t bad Sale just be like Pivetta?
