Looks like this one is just about over. This team has zero chance of not finishing in last unless the pitching improves dramatically.
To quote Dave Wasserman: Chris Sale is so very cooked and bad and the Red Sox rotation is not good at all.
Would’ve been nice to have something to enjoy before they completely shit the bed. I look forward to Chris’s postgame discussion about accountability and needing to be better.
But you know if he was on the opposing team he would be mowing the Red Sox down like grass. And we would be looking at a guy throwing 96 with his slider be thinking man why can’t we get pitchers like that.

Sale can't even get to a headspace where he can dream of himself as an adequate starter in this league. He's awful. The drop in velocity is big, but the command is absolutely gone. From one pitch to the next he has zero ability to hit a target consistently
I was wondering why we weren't seeing all that many steal attempts in spring training games. Turns out teams were not wanting to give away the regular season plan to run wild on the Red Sox.
