didn't they miss the FT?The T on Joe after a blown call kind of matters now
Why? They missed the FTThe T on Joe after a blown call kind of matters now
I don't know, tough to say if Joe's T actually helped buy a call later, lit a fire under his players, etc? Only one point, so I don't fault him if he felt like it is needed. The T on Joe after a blown call kind of matters now
He was grabbing his bad elbow and wincing after making a deflection in the first half.I wonder how healthy Jrue is.
Crazy stuffThe moving screen called on Tatum really bothered me. Just the kind of dumb call that other teams stars never seem to get called for.
I fully believe Joe stuck him to the bench because his play and inability to take care of the ballHe was grabbing his bad elbow and wincing after making a deflection in the first half.
Completely out of the flow of the game, run of the mill physicality. Showed a real lack of awareness for the game situation. More seasoned refs probably let that go as they should. The moving screen called on Tatum really bothered me. Just the kind of dumb call that other teams stars never seem to get called for.
For sure. I did like the 4th qtr effort as well. Not the outcome I wanted but that was an absolutely fantastic thoroughly entertaining NBA basketball game.
Yup, and regardless of outcome, you can't simulate that kind of late game, behind a couple baskets situations. Loses like this are the best kind of loses for the team. Certainly not for much of SOSH though haBah. Loved the fight in the fourth and the quality of the offense throughout. Cs had 12 more free throws, ended up having one more shot, and had nine more boards, with just one fewer assist. Really, it's the four turnovers and Jaylen being ice cold from three. But about as close as game as you get. Fun stuff.
OKC was +3200 to win the title on Friday. +2800 earlier this evening. +2300 now.Great game against a team that tonight was better than I imagined they were. Who attacked relentlessly.
Bit on the ass again in the 3rd qtr
He’s clearly hurt.Jrue needs to be better. If he isn’t healthy he needs a few games off.
It was a ridiculous call. I have seen more contact from Josh Giddey at a junior high prom.Completely out of the flow of the game, run of the mill physicality. Showed a real lack of awareness for the game situation. More seasoned refs probably let that go as they should.
Of their 7 losses, 3 came in OT. One (tonight) was by 4 points, one by 3 points. Even in the 10-point Indiana loss, they were down by just 4 with 10 seconds left. Their only real bad game was indeed the Orlando loss the day after Thanksgiving. They may lose a few games, but this is a REALLY tough team to beat. The Celtics have played, what, 1 game all season where they didn’t have a genuine chance to win it pretty late into the game?
Thinking the Orlando one. The IST game they pulled away lateish IIRC. Really impressive season we’re putting together.
This doesn’t bother me. They were going to need to run a possession without a timeout one way or another at that point.I know KP scored eventually, but with 14 seconds down 2 possessions, you need to call timeout, advance the ball, and run a play to get a shot off faster. Over ten seconds to take a shot there is too long.
Ehh, I didnt mind it. Got a wide open (shoulda been) 3, probably a better shot than an out of bounds play.I know KP scored eventually, but with 14 seconds down 2 possessions, you need to call timeout, advance the ball, and run a play to get a shot off faster. Over ten seconds to take a shot there is too long.
“Honestly, the corner is a little bit dangerous for me,” Porzingiis said. “I’m afraid of stepping out because my stance is a little bit wide, so I was a little bit afraid of stepping out and stepping on the line. And then I was right on the line. So, tough one. That would have made a little bit of difference there.”Damn the LeBron foot on the line?
and did you agree that it was a really embarrassing kiss cam performance from the crowd?Fun game. OKC is quite good. I did watch this game on an Oculus and in the NBA Arena portion of the Meta virtual world. That was an awesome way to watch the game. The view was from the half court line between the benches at floor level. The view would switch to behind the basket when free throws were being taken. This is probably really old news but its new to me. Will definitely be watching more NBA games when they are shown that way. Plus no commercials just watched the in arena entertainment like I was in the building.
