Watching NFL all day and thinking the refs are not great really gets put in perspective when you see the shit that goes down in NBA games.

man these refs suck.

edit: can you imagine if Draymond got KP's whistle on both offensive fouls and techs.

I mean, if the game was regularly called like this I'm reasonably certain Bam Adebayo would average maybe 12 minutes a game

We’ll never forget that one night the NBA pretended to care about flopping.

I think NBA officiating would improve dramatically if they just decided to call 50% fewer offensive fouls. It could even be a completely indiscriminate random 50%.

Some of these games have no flow and they are completely arbitrarily making these calls. Just embarrassing.

Memphis has been called for more fouls than Celts..but to my eyes that’s because there are gumming things up by design and should be a much higher gap

Combined 38 fouls called, 18 on the Celts and 20 on the Grizz.

Interestingly, the C's only have 23 FTA's and the Grizz only have 10.

Point of emphasis seems to be call offensive fouls on the C's before they get a chance to shoot, and call nothing when they get hammered when they do shoot.
