So the first one was a TD and the second one was a fumble, seems only fair they got a TD there.

Can't wait to hear Harbaugh's post game blaming of the Refs, despite Lamar Jackson having 3 completions in this game.

Highly unlikely that Baltimore can put up enough points to get back into the game.

Romo had it completely right. Steratore was the one claiming that possession was lost. But really, can you ever ACTUALLY have possession of the football? There's always a few atoms in between the ball and the gloves, and in between the glove and the ball, right?

Here
Not saying Flacco turns it around, but such a big fail not giving him a chance on short fields twice.

If Harbaugh complains about that sequence of events, he's an asshole. The first review should have resulted in a touchdown. It didn't. It should have resulted in a better spot for the Chargers. It didn't. The only reason Gordon might not have scored a touchdown on the second review as because of the shitty spot, but even still, they overturned a call that clearly wasn't indisputable, in Baltimore's favor, and then Gordon went in clean on fourth down.

Everything the refs could do there to help Baltimore, they did.

RE: the 2nd down play, the reason the ball was spotted back at the 1 is that was the original spot. LAC challenged the spot, and in order to win those challenges the result needs to change the outcome of the play. Since it was ruled no touchdown, the challenge was 'unsuccessful'. Or at least that how it is in the field of play... you don't win a challenge of a first down spot if the ball is advanced 1 foot, but still ends up short of the line to gain. (Or at least that is how it has been for years).

EDIT - or what j44thor said in many fewer words.

I agree with Romo, you gotta put Flacco in to at least have a chance.

Yup. Replays are confusing the officials and then you add in Romo, Nantz and Steratore and its a shitshow.

Actually lets just call it a poopshow out of respect for Rivers.
They should get rid of the deference to the on-field call.

The 2nd-down play is a perfect example of why: based on his spot, it’s clear that the official who made the on-field call didn’t see the play. Based on the replay, it was probable (at a minimum) that Watt had broken the plane. Yet, the replay official is required to defer to the clearly erroneous on-field call if he is not 100% positive that the replay shows a TD.

That was like a flea flicker but he never got rid of the ball. WTF is Jackson doing?

Looked like it was in his hand as he stretched for the GL
Yeah, I'm not sure what some folks are seeing. He reaches forward with the ball as he's going to the ground. The ball goes forward with his hands. It wouldn't do that if he didn't have control of it, would it?

Baltimore booing the guy that got them to the playoffs is delicious.

What a shithole of a franchise
