AP: Former major league umpire Chuck Meriwether, who was behind the plate when the Boston Red Sox ended their championship drought in 2004, died Saturday. He was 63.

That 1996 WS was the same progression so far also, NY lost the first two at home and then won the next four.

Thought Robles was playing Brantley aggressively shallow that last AB (and it worked), this confirms it.

================

Victor Robles was playing Michael Brantley 26ft shallower on the play he just robbed Brantley compared to his first AB.

Robles depth:

1st AB: 318ft deep (singled)
2nd AB: 312ft deep (singled)
3rd AB: 292ft deep (out)

Urquidy right up there for MVP candidates if the Astros end up winning this, the Astros were fucked if he got knocked out early today.

Chirinos, or Altuve
Yeah, long way to go and who knows what will happen from here, my main point is that HOU was fucked if Urquidy got knocked out early tonight, they used their best relievers a bunch last night.

Harris has come into games this postseason with 10 baserunners on, he has stranded all 10. I keep thinking he is due to get crushed, he keeps mowing pricks down (apologies to Johnny).

Helping out Harris by swinging at the first pitch, NY kept doing that too against HOU relievers. It looks good if it works, it looks terrible if it doesn't.
