Canada isn't exactly known for its hip hop artists. Sure, Torontonians like Drake and The Weeknd are major international stars, and Toronto's Maestro Fresh-Wes was the first Canadian rapper to break into the US Billboard charts, but that wasn't until 1989. It took another nine years for Canada to get its breakthrough track, Northern Touch, which Seth Rogan described as the Canadian "Stairway to Heaven". It was in Northern Touch that the occasionally used T.O. (pronounced tee-dot-oh) moniker for the city took off in the hip hop community, with rapper Choclair talking about "T-dizzot, O-dizzot".

Why is this relevant? It isn't. But in spite of their reasonably good season this year, there isn't a ton to discuss about the Leafs because they are a terrible franchise. Despite a rich history as an Original Six squad and being the lone team in a city that could probably support three of them, the Leafs haven't even sniffed a conference finals in over twenty years and haven't been to a Stanley Cup final since before the very establishment of the Eastern Conference.

Walk into Scotiabank Arena, score goals, drink their moonshine-grade beer, exploit the weakness of the Canadian dollar, and start winning again. The Leafs are favorites at -130 with a line of -1.5. Let's embarrass some sharps.

7p EST puck drop, NESN/ESPN+. Fucking win.

B's gotta show up and start on time, stomp on the leafs for a solid 60, and keep them at arms length in the standings. Can they do it? Hell yes. They just gotta get their collective shit together. Time to shake off the funk and get on a roll......

You'd think that after Saturday night's self-inflicted humiliation, the Bruins would come out fast and strong. You'd think.

Make it so.

I used to be a bit fretful about Leafs/Bs games - i did not want to go into my (Toronto) office and hear the chortling from colleagues.

Well, the team used to suck, and now it's pretty entertaining - no lead is safe in TO, whether the Leafs are up or down. BUT - bonus! - I don't work in an office any more, and none of my neighbors have seen me in my vintage Orr jersey.

Somethings remain the same, though. There's nothing sadder than a Leafs fan with hope, And the Bs should crush them, whichever side of the border the game is played.

Win like champs - regulation time, multiple goals!

3 to 6 in HDC. Swayman's the difference so far. Need more possession or this is going to be the same script that we saw in Edmonton and Seattle.

Why does Toronto play happy music immediately after a goal by the other team? I’m watching while working out and I keep thinking Toronto is scoring because of the music and cheering and then I look up and realize the Bruins scored.

2 scoring chances. Only difference is Bruins have better goalie. Thats the season story.
