I feel like I could do a DDB style rant about Dodger starting pitcher Urias and his glasses, but I'm sure there is a reason they are so annoying (vision correction or something). I'll wait for the DDB rant, and don't disappoint.

What’s a DDB rant?

I don’t know what you all are talking about. I love the Dodgers. I love all of you. It is only a game.

I wonder if our guys will do one of those sillies like when they can’t catch a ball that a little leaguer can catch, or they run to a base where another guy is standing. That makes me so happy. Those plays remind me they are human and make me feel good about myself for the mistakes I make in my own life! Like the other day I forgot to put the cup under the Kurig machine at work. Silly me, right? It made a mess. I felt really bad about myself. But then Connor Wong just stepped up and said, “I see you DDB, we all make mistakes, even us big leaguers.”

So now you go the other way, all touchy-feely.

Game 130
The runner put out between second and third
feels like a metaphor (or some fancy word)
for the Red Sox season that’s so far occurred.
We think we’ll make it, but success is deferred.
It seems like we’re close, but our vision is blurred
by a shaky belief our faults can be cured.
Games like that madden me, but I’m not deterred.
I’ll still watch the standings, track stats like a nerd,
hope the team bounces back and is somehow stirred
to start a win streak heretofore of unheard.
It could happen today! That thought’s not absurd.

Paxton has not pitched well at all lately. Uranus has though. Reverse lock!!! Called it!
Edit- autocorrect Urias. Leaving it.

Since the game is on NESN and the Sox are playing a West Coast team, I am blacked out. Thanks MLB! I live 4,000 miles away from your "in market"

I will be enjoying SNLA and the Dodgers broadcast on my cable package and whoever the Hell that is.

Miami (oh, Miami!)
It's amazing what coaching can do, eh?
I have it on authority from an earlier game thread that baseball players are essential, unchanging beings, who cannot be coached to hit or to field, but instead are popped out by the minor leagues like little bronze statues.

The trick is to find the shiniest statues, I think.

I'll get back to you on that.
