Aren't David Andrews, Matthew Slater, and DMac in that picture? What current Pats player is in that picture?

Huh. Didn't recognize them without their helmetsMcCourty, Andrews, Slater
Can't tell the players without a programHuh. Didn't recognize them without their helmets
Definitely Slater and Andrews, but to be honest, it could be Jason McCourty and not DMac.Huh. Didn't recognize them without their helmets
That’s what work done looks likeWhy is he getting married in the middle of the season? Shotgun wedding?
I try to avoid the Tom drama, but damn, he looks terrible.
Yeah, Friday night wedding in the middle of the season, in NYC. Kinda weird, but when you’re Kraft’s age, you probably don’t wait around. I just find it sort of weird that Brady, who plays in Pittsburgh on Sunday was there while Belichick, who coaches in Cleveland on Sunday, wasn’t. It’s odd for him not to be there, no?Why is he getting married in the middle of the season? Shotgun wedding?

The Patriots dynasty begins with Parcells drafting Drew Bledsoe, followed by Kraft buying the team the very next year, Belichick quitting the Jets for the Patriots, and Tom Brady taking over the reigns in 2001. It’s incredible and cool they are friends. Life worked out well for all of them.Him and Bledsoe hanging out together seems very wholesome to me. They weren’t teammates for long, there should have been some level of regret between them but the mutual respect they publically had seems like it wasn’t all marketing
The NY Post article says that Elton John asked Kraft 3 weeks ago when he was getting married and Elton said he would perform as a gift. So they booked a wedding on the only day Elton John was available.Yeah, Friday night wedding in the middle of the season, in NYC. I am sure it will be covered in Wickersham’s next book.
Are they hanging out or just in the back together because they are tall?Him and Bledsoe hanging out together seems very wholesome to me. Florio has always been obsessed with Brady. He went so far as to claim in preseason that he knew that TB12 would be the starting quarterback for the 49ers this year.On the one hand, PFT's obsession with Brady practicing is a little weird. On the other hand, Brady skipping practice for a wedding does seem very out of character.
God, it kills me to see Moss there. He only played 3 and a few seasons here, yet he gushes over Tom and BB every chance he gets, and shows up at an event like this, looking so happy. Randy fucking loved the Patriot Way. I wish we got more seasons of him.Aren't David Andrews, Matthew Slater, and DMac in that picture?
Do teams even practice on Saturdays?Tom didn't make it to practice today. On the one hand, PFT's obsession with Brady practicing is a little weird. On the other hand, Brady skipping practice for a wedding does seem very out of character.
I read one report that claimed that it was a "surprise" that the party everyone was invited to was a wedding, but there is zero chance Brady skipped a Saturday practice for a "party."
It would be unorthodox to do soDo teams even practice on Saturdays?

His post-game presser when he got traded back to the Vikings and basically laid his coaches out to dry and "saluted" Belichick was an all-time classic. He really did love being here, and the football we could have witnessed in an alternate universe makes me sad.I post this every so often because I love it so much

Greg Williams was a prophetTom Brady was definitely saying playin in the NFL is just like going to war.
Also, the entire NFL ethos is military. You attack. You sack. You throw bombs. You dominate the front lines. You intercept.
I find myself still rooting for Brady and all but you really don't see using a military deployment as an example is just a poor choice especially for someone as PR conscious as Brady?Tom Brady was definitely saying playin in the NFL is just like going to war.

Using examples that are at least 10+ years old isnt exactly making the point you think it isAlso, the criticism seems a little misplaced, as military comparisons are made by dozens or athletes (not just in football) every week. And lets not pretend that the US Military hasn't leaned in hugely to advertise and make football a part of their recruitment strategy.
He was obviously talking about it in the sense of being locked in with a group of guys through an extended period of time and devoting all your activities towards accomplishing a collective goal, which doesn't leave much time for you to mentally focus on much else, not that he's under the exact same physical and mental conditions or receives the same compensation as someone in military service. To be offended by that is kinda silly. And you all wonder why I dislike Brady so much ...

As long as we're playing in the ethical midfield.Yea I’m not really all that put off by Brady’s comment.
If I never hear another senior military official talk about “getting this over the goal line” or “quarterbacking” something, it will be too soon.
We, as a society, suck at analogies.

Where is this graphic/list from? Did Brady create that? And you all wonder why I dislike Brady so much ...

GEN Douglas MacArthur“Upon the fields of friendly strife are sown the seeds that on other days, on other fields, will bear the fruits of victory.”
Remember when he posted something on his IG story that people should be nice to each other during the pandemic and there was a debate about how Brady wasn't taking COVID-19 serious enough?Jesus Christ. The newest reasons to hate Tom Brady are always the dumbest reasons.
Most of the military terminology associated with football is still commonly used by coaches, players, broadcasters, etc. Bomb, blitz, sack, etc. And as pointed out by others, the military pays for the privilege of having coaches and players festooned in camouflage every November. Sorry, this feels you’re bending over backwards to be outraged by someone you obviously have pre-existing dislike of.Using examples that are at least 10+ years old isnt exactly making the point you think it is
I’m pretty sure that list is not related to Brady in any way, shape, or form. The original post containing that graphic is confusing people. He’s not being “funny” with that list? Luxury accomodations? Cheerleaders?
Ten years after the Battle of Waterloo, while watching a cricket match at Eton, the Duke of Wellington was overheard to say: "The battle of Waterloo was won here."GEN Douglas MacArthur
And you are way too sensitiveJesus Christ. The newest reasons to hate Tom Brady are always the dumbest reasons.
Weren’t you pissed off by what Brady said? And you are way too sensitive
Not pissed just providing some more details about why people might not like Brady.Weren’t you pissed off by what Brady said?
actually - with the prevalence of sexual assault/rape in the military, using him is quite appropriate.Using Kellen Winslow is such a bad idea LOL
People are letting this go?I'm sure his o-line appreciated getting yelled at by Tom after he jetted off to a billionaire's birthday party and missed the Saturday walkthrough. Yes, of course Tom doesn't need the walkthrough, he's 'got all the answers to the test', etc., but that's still not a good look. This board would have had a field day if Peyton Manning or Derek Jeter pulled something like that back in the day.
Yeah who cares? Tons of people dislike Brady for lots of different reasons. You posted a stupid reason to dislike him in a forum that is frequented by lots of Patriots fans who love Tom Brady? What reaction were you looking for?Not pissed just providing some more details about why people might not like Brady.
