All 4 broadcast networks with a game at 7 or 7:30

Can’t remember last time that happened

Thanks tOSU for being a draw to have NBC game at 7:30

Virginia scores TD with 36 seconds left to put them down 2 with 2pc pending yet the OL gets 15 yard penalty

But they still get the 2pc on a great catch

Another 15 yard unsportsmanlike on UVA (helmet off) so Pack get a decent shot at FG if they can use time wisely and/or get good return

Yup! Pack return ball to UVA 48 or so
Probably need 15-20 yards for decent chance
2 timeouts 25 seconds or so

Another draw gets 10 yards and then a spike

And then a 3rd

3 seconds left

47 yard attempt for Pack to possibly win it

UConn has a very important game today. First, they play Duke, and it's always fun when UConn plays Duke in anything. Second, Duke is a ranked team, so as frustrating as UConn has been this year, a win here would change the entire outlook of the season. And third, Cooper Flagg will be there today, so while I'm sure he doesn't care who wins the football game, it's important that UConn fans show up and show out. Turns out he's basically deciding between UConn and....Duke.

Yeah he’s visiting Duke in October. This has trap game written all over it for Duke. Hosting Notre Dame next week. Aside from the ACC title game several years ago it’s hard to remember a bigger game for Duke in the last 30 years.

Edit: but I highly doubt today’s game will influence Cooper Flagg’s decision :)

I agree, but UConn athletics is using his visit and his pending decision as a marketing ploy to get more people to go to the game. haha

Hosting a top 10 team when also ranked? I'm not sure it's happened.

Of course, ND may not be top 10 next weekend.

Find a bigger game, aside from the ACC title game against FSU.
Oh next week perhaps

Thought you were talking this week

Yeah I just looked through Duke's schedule for the last 30 years. I stand by my comment. I don't think they've played a single home game when ranked against a top 10 team. So it's the FSU ACC title game like 10 years ago, and then possibly next week against ND.

Good luck to UConn with its basketball recruiting. Can't wait to reference this the next time people start wondering aloud why UConn can't be invited to the Big 12.

I'd like to thank Awesome Fossum for starting this thread every week. It's my "go-to" place for planning my Saturday viewing.
Thank you! I have a lot of fun doing it and talking football with you all.

I want to join the chorus in thanking you. Nowhere else lays it out better than you do every week.

Clemson’s kicker story is wild.

“ Coach Dabo Swinney got word over the weekend that former backup Jonathan Weitz is still actively enrolled as a Clemson student, pursuing an online master’s degree in data science and analytics from his Charleston, S.C., hometown. Weitz, who retired from football last spring, still has another year of eligibility due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and agreed on Sunday to come out of retirement.

Weitz is on track to graduate with his master’s degree in December. He recently accepted a job in New York City that was expected to start two weeks from now.”

That was some awful spot in the Clemson-FSU game. #14 caught it and was downed at the 26 and they spotted it at the 28. No matter, as they got a first down on the next play, but come on, refs.

Auburn has Aggie in absolute hell. Embarrassing look for Jimbo to only be up 3 on a team that doesn't have a QB while getting a bunch of important players hurt.

Just realized that FSU only dropped one slot after barely beating Chestnut Hill

If you can’t beat Clemson this year . . .
