ASU is pulling out all the stops against USC. Onside kick, toss and pass back to QB, 4th down wildcat 25 yard pass by the RB, then a shot to the endzone by the RB out of wildcat after pretending to run. It’s not even the end of the second quarter

That WR went too wide on that wildcat throw. They had it if he is in the spot.

Correct. We went winless my soph and jr years.
I can top that, Columbia went winless all four years I was there, I believe 0-39.

Luckily our fencing team was almost the precise opposite (we lost twice my freshman year and undefeated the next three years, 3/2/1/1 at NCAAs). I always joked if the football team ever won, it meant we would lose, but neither happened three years running.

Yeah we won the first game of the year my sr year in a driving rainstorm against ECU, then rushed the field and carried the goalposts to the chapel. My friend busted his ankle on a drain when we jumped down. Good times.

The following week we hosted a ranked Louisville team and went down about 42-0 by halftime.

I was class of 93 so came just after the streak was broken. The story of the goalpost parts being carried back to campus on the subway certainly makes for a vivid picture. I called games on WKCR and man, it’s hard to build excitement for the team then. I called punts that went negative yards and countless defeats snatched from the jaws of victory. At least they won 30-0 yesterday (suck it Hoyas).
