I'm not sure "two other prospects" has ever been more crucial to determining my feelings about a deal.Need to see the other prospects. If they get Sale. give up no 25-man roster pieces and keep Devers, that's a huge win in my book.
This is where I'm at. It was pretty much the deal I was spit balling last week. At least Benetendi wasn't involvedI'm fine with this, an overpay, but no major league talent.
Im not sure I do this deal, but its a pretty fair price. I expected they'd have had to do Bradley or AB instead of Swihart and another prospect.Swihart, Moncada AND Kopech is too much.
Bye-bye Buchholz. Plus need that money coming off the board. So our rotation is
#1 Sale
#2 Price
#3 Cy Young Award Winner
#4 Pomeranz
#5 Edro
#6 Wright?
#7 Buchholz?
Hell of a rotation
That is semi-cheap money given Sale's status. Damn.wow.

What would be Moncada's salary in those years? That is semi-cheap money given Sale's status. Damn.
You'd presumably still have Anderson Espinoza, minus Drew Pomeranz. Why now and not in July? They could have made a serious run with Ortiz still on board and possibly have won home field and maybe things turn out differently, who knows. Did that small sample of ABs change their perception of Moncada? I don't understand why they didn't make this trade in July but decide to do so now.
Because you are in the White Sox front office? My head is happy. So how come the sound in my office is "nooooooooooooooo!"
It's dirt cheapThat is semi-cheap money given Sale's status. Damn.
