I might have kept Gibbs in after his first run. Shiftier runner down close against a good tackling defense

One aspect of all the broadcasts that deserves a lot more praise is how quickly they identify infractions away from the ball so we can see why the flag was dropped.
This is part of the partnership between officials and the broadcast team. The replay booth has a direct line to the TV producer and can pass on tidbits. Also, officials give preliminary signals as soon as the play is over (offscreen) so the announcers can sound smart

Early in these big games one of the things I look at is who is getting to the line more quickly. So far, the Lions seem to be getting to the line more quickly with plenty of time to survey the defense, while things seem more frenetic for the Bucs.

I’m sure it is confirmation bias, but for so long as I have been paying attention, it seems like the team quicker to the line usually wins. Would need to see a couple more drives, but if nothing else, Lions are more calm and have the noise advantage.

Just a thing to look for.

Never knew the word could be spelled like that too.

Being a QB must be like doing those slap fights. Imagine just standing in there knowing you’re about to be crunched.

Man, TB needed that first down. It's been choppy all game.

Goff is Tom Brady when he has no pressure and he's Zach Wilson when he faces pressure. Tampa has gotten 0 pressure so far this game.
