How does one pronounce "dopes," referring to the SOSH moderators? Do you pronounce it the same as the O sound in SOSH?
Is it like idiots or the slang word for drugs? So, dough-ps?
Or is it like the delicious traditional Mexican dish, sopes? Saw-pehs?
I mean, I know the answer. But I prefer the softer pronunciation, and I think from now on that's how I'm going to say it. Daw-peh. Like you could say, the daw-pehs are dough-ps. That's how I'm going to say it from now on. But, you know, just in my head. Not out loud. I don't talk about this place out loud.

I like my signature, but "always put dope on the male thread" would be a decent one.

Spoiling things for Texas would definitely give me a certain fondness for the 23 Sox. A very sick, fleeting fondness. But a fondness nonetheless.
I don't believe they will pursue him but I wouldn't rule it out. He fills a lot of needs with a lot of risk but damn, if it works its amazing.
He's an amazing player. I have no interest in paying him $50 million/year to likely just become a DH.
Ohtani means that Yoshida remains an outfielder and Turner is definitely returning, which makes Story and Wong the top RH batters in the lineup ... barring other changes. And if you're paying Ohtani $50M a year, those other changes aren't likely to be major
