Alexis is on fire, 1-0 Arsenal.  Which is good, because the other 10 players haven't done much of anything.

QPR a bit unlucky with that penalty IMHO.  Wasn't quite a 50-50 ball, but not much more than 55-45.

Really wishing I'd made Alexis my captain in the fantasy premier league lineup for this week.

Stuart Downing rescues a point for us, but we'll get passed by the Arse on goal differential, down to 5th.

Dortmund were up 1-0 at the half but then substituted Hummels for the abysmal Subotic and started sitting back and wound up losing 2-1.

They have 7 points and are currently in the drop zone, not that it means too much at this point in the season. But they are making CL qualification really hard on themselves.

Valencia at right back is worrying as he doesn't like to track back after attacking,  Jovetic and Aguero may have a field day on Smalling and Rojo.

City are pressing hard when United have the ball in their own end, but they are retreating deep when United get past the halfway line.  KInd of an odd hybrid strategy.

That has been about the only good decision that I've made. It's gotten me into the top 50.

What a pass from Fernando. Back and forth so far but City is picking it up last couple minutes.

Some great saves by De Gea so far.  Aguero roasting the United backline makes me feel a little better about the punking he gave Spurs a couple weeks ago.  United are playing relatively high which gives Aguero space, and he's just too quick for Rojo and Smalling.

One thing I love about soccer, more than any other sport, is that the level of shit talking extends all the way to the manager.

Two stupid cards.

I've been terrified by this match all week. City are not only out of form they're also missing Silva. But more than that, City have owned this fixture through midfield dominance but the midfield has become such a weakness all of a sudden

Fellaini fouled Aguero in the box and it isn't called, but his reaction was amazing. He absolutely kicked nothing but Aguero then acted like Aguero was acting/diving going back to scream at him.

Close call there at the end: if the ref gives the penalty, he has to give another red card as well.

That last one is a pretty clear pen. He's kicking at the ball through yayas legs from behind. It's an insane challenge.
You have the right to kick the ball through the players legs. There wasn't that much contact and Toure created part of it and was clearly looking for the call. I wouldn't expect that to be called a PK in most situations.

The Fellaini foul was really obvious though. He just kicked him and ran him over, never getting near the ball .

So far Oliver has got 1 out of 3 of the potential penalty calls correct, not great.

I mean, Rojo was down for a while, so I don't think that was out of line.

Is Lamela hurt?

And no Kane, but Soldado is starting in a 4-4-2.

Nobody covering themself in glory there. It was a hand to the face but the Spurs players were way overreacting and basically baited that.

Mason should have gotten a yellow.

Benteke should have been sent of for shoving him in the face.  I think it's pretty clear to me that when you put your hand on a guys face, you should go.

The ref lost this game in the last 15 minutes or so.

Really weak red card on Benteke. This should get interesting

No it's not.  He shoved Mason in the face.

If it's on the shoulder, or chest, then fine.  Not in the face.
