He's a true 2 outcome player... makes a 3 or does something fucking stupidI’m going to speak my truth here…I do not like watching Malcolm Brogdon play basketball. At all

So trueHe's a true 2 outcome player... makes a 3 or does something fucking stupid
I mean.. he does a ton of things well. Other than you think he shoots too much? He's shooting over 50% from 3 in the playoffs.. what's to hate?I’m going to speak my truth here…I do not like watching Malcolm Brogdon play basketball. At all
His lack of on-court awareness is amazing...he routinely just passes directly to the other team. He's a true 2 outcome player... makes a 3 or does something fucking stupid
I had no idea he was such an awful defender….or that he was allergic to passingHe's a true 2 outcome player... makes a 3 or does something fucking stupid
What does he do well other than shoot threes?I mean.. he does a ton of things well. Other than you think he shoots too much? He's shooting over 50% from 3 in the playoffs.. what's to hate?
And he still contested with a hand in Butler's face. PP may yet prove to be too small, but that play wasn't a good example. To be fair to PP, he was shoved so badly even Miller noted it
He gets tunnel vision and looks for his own shot a bit too much.I mean.. he does a ton of things well. Other than you think he shoots too much? He's shooting over 50% from 3 in the playoffs.. what's to hate?
To be fair, he didnt have a lot of options on that last play. It was kick it out or travel. Nobody was openHis lack of on-court awareness is amazing...he routinely just passes directly to the other team.
Yup. Won one quarter—let’s do it againCrappy 1st, but came away with the lead. That's good news.
He’s a rich man’s Fred BrownHis lack of on-court awareness is amazing...he routinely just passes directly to the other team.
That game was on ESPN. All of the C's games are on TNT, thankfully. We all save 12 minutes in the bargain.Tip-off for Game 1 was 8:47 last night if anyone is wondering when we’ll actually play some basketball tonight.
The other 40+%?I mean.. he does a ton of things well. Other than you think he shoots too much? He's shooting over 50% from 3 in the playoffs.. what's to hate?
You are right - saw that on the replay. That said, when Jimmy is getting the matchup he wants and is successfully exploiting it - even with the Heat's characteristic physicality - you need to adjust imo.To be fair to PP, he was shoved so badly even Miller noted it
he’s a good shooter. Really good on the catch and shoot.I mean.. he does a ton of things well. Other than you think he shoots too much? He's shooting over 50% from 3 in the playoffs.. what's to hate?
Yeah Pritchard played pretty great defense on that possession, not sure too many defenders would’ve stopped that shot. And he still contested with a hand in Butler's face. PP may yet prove to be too small, but that play wasn't a good example.
Edit: He also played Butler so well on his first touch of that possession that he force Jimmy to give up the ball.
He'd have been better throwing it at the rim than throwing it randomly back towards mid-court, though---fortunate it didn't generate a fast break hoop for themTo be fair, he didnt have a lot of options on that last play. It was kick it out or travel. Nobody was open
I think they set a trap but inviting it and collapse to strip it. It’s our Achilles.Tatum just can't drive into traffic on this team. They collapse the lanes too well.
Yeah, agreed overall---PP on Butler is not a matchup I want to see much. And you of course aren't wrong about his sizeYou are right - saw that on the replay. That said, when Jimmy is getting the matchup he wants and is successfully exploiting it - even with the Heat's characteristic physicality - you need to adjust imo.
Not if we’re playing lineups with Brogdon and Pritchard on the court together.Could have been worse. Defense will find a rhythm.
kind of stunned he played over Grant and Hauser…two guys I thought would get runNot if we’re playing lineups with Brogdon and Pritchard on the court together.
