The kind of absolute useful bullshit that fools you into thinking they’ll make a DM of him yetJust an all time great cynical tackle by Harry Winks to halt a Leicester counter.
But he only had to make the foul because he gave the ball away in awful fashion. It was peak Winks. The kind of absolute useful bullshit that fools you into thinking they’ll make a DM of him yet
No idea, but I consider it cosmic justice for that pillow-soft second Vardy penalty. How was that not ruled out by VAR? Obvious handball, no?
you guys should go form your own leagueSo after all that. City, United, Liverpool, Chelsea. SO PREDICTABLE
It would lack the zip that only the 7th and 8th teams in the table can bring though.you guys should go form your own league
In such a lost season, at least we have these delicious Gunner tears. He literally used his hand to control the ball. He essentially trapped it against his body.

And both times, all they needed to do was to win their last game.Brutal for Leicester. 2 years in a row.
Really brutal for those fans. They need to find a way to hold onto and add to this squad. And both times, all they needed to do was to win their last game.
And both times, all they needed to do was to win their last game.
Last season was even worse. They lost 3 of their last 4, and went 3-3-6 in their last 12. Including losses to Norwich and Bournemouth.I don't remember how bad last year's collapse was apart from the United loss.
4 points in their last 5 games this year. Ouch.
Dan Duquette likes this.Leicester ended up spending more days in the top 4 than any other team this season. Even more than City.
Unless they were going to rent a helicopter to get him there from Anfield, that's not too surprising.wow, NBC using world feed instead of having Arlo call the trophy lift
in previous seasons, I think they had him presenting it from whatever stadium he was calling his matchUnless they were going to rent a helicopter to get him there from Anfield, that's not too surprising.
They're up 4-0, so it seems to have worked. Unfortunately for them, Napoli just took the lead, and Milan is 1 up on Atalanta., so at the moment Juve is still in 5th.Pirlo has benched Ronaldo for Juventus’ do or die matchday 38 game against Bologna
I understand why everybody was against the ESL, but I can't understand why anybody is okay with the status quo. This most unpredictable of seasons has ended with…
Whatever next?
- The four richest clubs taking the top four places!
- Harry Kane getting the golden boot!
- A late-season collapse from Leicester!
- Mourinho sacked by his club after setting the house on fire!
No kidding. In such a lost season, at least we have these delicious Gunner tears.
It is a handball if:
"Scores in the opponents’ goal:
directly from their hand/arm, even if accidental, including by the goalkeeper; or
immediately after the ball has touched their hand/arm, even if accidental.”
It doesn't have to be a goal that Kane scored, it can be that he created a goal scoring opportunity immediately after the handball. You left out the more relevant section of the rules:No kidding.
Ball popped up because it deflected off defender. It, by the definition the EPL uses, did not lead directly to the goal (which basically means Kane didn't score it). It's literally why Kane didn't shoot.
In this case, there are a few dribbles and seconds between the handball and pass to Bale, so it's not immediate, but it's pretty close. It is an offence if a player:
- after the ball has touched their or a team-mate’s hand/arm, even if accidental, immediately:
- creates a goal-scoring opportunity
agree it should have been a handball. The whole thing should be moot anyway because he basically brings his arm down and dribbles the ball with his hand. I have no idea what was going through his head but if you want to call this an unintentional handball then are basically no intentional handballs other than the rare occasion of a guy blocking one going into the net.
If this occurs in the normal run of play with the ref getting a good look it gets called 99 times out of 100 and nobody even bats an eye.

Yeah, I definitely agree about the Vardy call. I didn't see it as it happened but I can't see Sanchez doing anything wrong at all on the replays I've seen, other than having his arm in a position that allowed Vardy to intentionally get himself tangled up and then flop around like a fish.agree it should have been a handball.
but Vardy should have been given a yellow instead of the “penalty” on their second goal. I don’t understand VAR at all. It was absolutely useless on both plays.
Thanks, mate. This year is a year of redemption, and that personal motivation to overcome is something special to watch and celebrate. While there are a handful of stories on the team of players trying to prove someone wrong, the one that stands out is Luis Suarez. When the match concluded, Suarez called his family and broke down in tears, expressing his hurt when Barca showed him the exit and the relief to prove to everyone that he still had it in him.Congratulations. Always great when a non Barca/Real Madrid team wins La Liga.
