There are very few members of congress with whom I’ve ever had the opportunity to discuss a substantive matter of public policy. But as it happens, one of them — the one with whom I’ve had the second-longest exchange — is Mike Pence (R-IN) who I’ve seen on television today repeatedly discussing the Republican Study Group’s “plan” for the financial crisis. And I can tell you this about Mike Pence: he has no idea what he’s talking about. The man is a fool, who deserves to be laughed at. He’s almost stupid enough to work in cable television.
How many, "because Gronk gets to spike the shit out of the football so much," replies are there?soxhop411 said:https://twitter.com/GovPenceIN/status/655083545988206592

Play action pass down the seam to Gronkowski to soften them up then run it down their throat.5dice said:Everyone thinks run will happen because it has worked including the Colts who think its coming. Those games have no bearing on Sunday's. Numbers say IND run defense is OK this year and pass D poor. Would anyone be surprised to see them come out spread out, empty backfield no huddle?
Yes please. I imagine Edelman will also get some action.RedOctober3829 said:Play action pass down the seam to Gronkowski to soften them up then run it down their throat.

I'm laughing at the likely reaction here if Boston writers and SoSH posters behaved similarly in the same circumstances, but it is very hard to wrap your mind around the possibility. Posters would be beaten and them warned; threads probably would be closed. It's just ludicrously embarrassing given all the circumstances. And it all started with that first Kravitz tweet after a legendary beatdown.tims4wins said:Seriously - why are they taunting so much? Yes we have had stupid stuff before. In Boston, it typically emanates from ownership or management --e.g., "we spent more days in first than" the MFYs. But nothing like this.
Isn't that the season motto? The 2015 Colts, we might not be able to beat good teams, but at least our fans aren't funnyH78 said:My hunch is when you can't tout excellence on the field you tout excellence in punchless humor.
A turnover or two or a big special teams play or a major injury or half of the pats don't show up or ...bigq said:This game is going to be closer than most seem to think it will be. Even if Luck does not play, plays at less than 100%, or Hasselbeck plays I could see the Pats' secondary getting carved up. A turnover or two from the Pats and a big special teams play from Indy would definitely make this a contest. I'll be happy with a Pats' win and that is the outcome I expect however I don't think it will be a blow out.

Agreed. And carved up by who? The rusty, dinged up, turnover machine that is Adrew Luck this season? Or that crafty veteran Hasselbeck? Give me a breakEd Hillel said:The idea that our secondary is bad and will be "carved up" seems misguided to me.
MarcSullivaFan said:The Colts aren't the Jags and the Pats are missing their LT, second best LB, and their No. 2 corner. The Colts--if they protect, and they did last week--have a deeper group of skill players than they did last year. If you think that Luck and/or Hasselbeck are incapable of dropping 30+ on the Pats in Indy, you're fooling yourself.
The biggest mismatch in the game, obviously, is the Pats O against the Indy D. But as poor as the Colts pass D has looked so far, they are healthier for this game than they've been all season. Davis is a very good corner, and Mike Adams is solid. They won't shut the Pats down, but they have the capability of keeping the Colts in the game especially if their run defense continues to play well.
Yeah, I think the Pats are the better team and will win, but a very close win or even a loss would not surprise me at all. Given what we see on a weekly basis in this league--and the couple surprise losses that the Pats have seemingly every season, the complete dismissal of the Colts by people here, and pretty much everywhere, is somewhat baffling to me.
