Damnit, fuck the Rinaldo trade. I would have traded a second for Bieksa all day.cshea said:They're taking on north of $5 million in the deal, so at the moment they have less than $2 million in cap space. Didn't move salary out, return was meh. Dano is a nice piece but Anisimov is meh, and makes $3.3 million.
Anywho, Bieksa to Anaheim for a 2.
If this is anywhere close to being the issue, the guy could be in serious trouble, and I mean that both legally and from a personal safety point of view. What I'm not too sure about is how this constitutes a material breach of his contract. It's the off-season. He didn't miss a game or a practice. Obviously, still a lot to learn about the details of the matter. The Napkin said:https://twitter.com/wyshynski/status/616017239783907329

TMZ is reporting that Mike Richards' border crossing incident involved him carrying oxycodone. http://www.tmz.com/2015/06/30/nhls-mike-richards-nhl-notified-about-oxycodone-drama-at-canadian-border/ …
Our sources say Richards was stopped while crossing from the United States into Canada on June 17th ... and we're told he was questioned about oxycodone pills, a powerful painkiller.
For the record, Richards has NOT been charged with a crime.
