Lol, too true. On the Washington forums the RG3 fans still won't admit that there's a problem with RG3. It's the coaching and OL.

Blunt is another guy that brings an edge onto the field, and if you have enough guys like that, it can be intimidating. On his second TD yesterday, he got up and shoved a linebacker immediately after scoring, and I kind of like the attitude.

Blount/Gronk have shown an edge on offense. Browner/Wilfork/Branch/Collins have all gotten chippy on defense. I like the attitude it brings to the field, and I think you end up seeing teams or players quit before the game is over. It's been a pleasure to watch.

I agree.  There are a lot of factors for the turnaround after the KC game, but I think a part of it is the newfound surliness Browner and a reconstituted Gronk brought to the team.  The 2001-4 Pats teams were also the toughest teams in the league.  I remember a player poll from that time and Richard Seymour was voted the player opposing players least wanted to meet up with in a dark alley - fairly ridiculous but it reflects an intimidation factor they seldom have had since.

NFL athletes are so good that one can forget how mindsets differ.  Some players have size and strength but aren't interested in mixing it up.  If you have players who have no qualms about getting in another player's face - and, importantly, also have discipline - then it's a whole new ballgame and teams will shrink from the challenge.  I think it's been a problem with the Pats versus the Ravens as the Ravens have used their physicality to great advantage.  I don't see Browner, Blount or Gronk backing down if they meet again.

Blount is another player in that mold.  He helps to make an opponent less comfortable and that's always good.  Like the signing.
