OMG, if he misses this kick, and they lose without Mayfield throwing once in OT, Reilly is going to face questions all year.

He had a big hole immediately after the handoff, but the play design was for outside.

Right before the snap, the Dawgs moved into a different formation on defense and set up that block. That was amazing.

Lincoln Reilly, you got some splaining to do with that playcalling in OT.
Yeah, those lateral tosses complete waste of time. GA too quick. Problem was that the receivers and TE could not get separation all night, much less on a compressed field.

I have to think we're going to find out Mayfield was playing with a cracked rib or something after that knee to side. Really head-scratching play calling late.

He just ran off the field pretty gingerly

Somebody will be getting a good QB. A full third of NFL starters would have crapped their pants facing that defense tonight. He is tough, resilient, competitive as hell and generally takes care of the football.

Ohhhh, that’s a bad drop. And how does a guy get that wide open on a 2 man rush?

I agree. Only thing I don't like about Mayfield at the next level is his size. But, Drew Brees can do it, so no reason to think he can't. He spreads the ball around, makes good decisions, has plenty of arm strength to make any throw and seems to have a really good feel for the pocket.

They were getting plenty of separation in the first half, so I'm not sure what changed. Georgia seemed to gear up better in the 2nd half for the Oklahoma running game, which should have meant they would be even more open. I honestly think play calling cost Oklahoma this game. It felt like Reilly was so committed to having a balanced offense that he took the ball out of his best player's hands.

Edit: That said, kind of hard to blame the offense when you score 48 points and lose, but nobody really expected the OU defense to stop anyone good. OU had the game won, and went too conservative, IMO.

Moving the Line
Scrambling like Hurts did there to make an accurate, disciplined throw is something he has not done all season. That is a fucking fantastic surprise, went against the route I expected them to win/score in this game (midlines).
