Good tourney for the Catholics so far. Marquette, Xavier, and St. Mary’s are through. Iona leads UConn at halftime. Gonzaga and Providence play tonight.
Creighton too I believe
Of the schools that are in
But many catholic schools didn’t make it, some with decent traditions (Nova, Georgetown, BC, Loyola Marymount, USD, Dayton, Saint Louis, Santa Clara, St Joe’s, Holy Cross, and SBCC all don’t make it)

Purdue putting on a real clinic on how not to break the press, just give FDU free shots at a steal for 12 seconds, don’t try to beat them down the court

Feels like an important 3 momentum-wise there to end the half.

Am I the only one who can’t not think “Elijah Allen” when someone says Farleigh Dickinson? It’s like pine tar and George Brett.

Harrisburg, Pa.
FDUl who didn’t even technically qualify for the tourney, is up on 2 with 8 minutes left. Even if the go scoreless from here on out, what a story.

How is Purdue a #1 seed? First time watching them and I’m really curious. They are horrendous.

If Purdue had an even average guard, they’d be pretty much unbeatable. Alas their guard play is so, so bad and they have no sense of rhythm at all.

Edey is all World but in a tourney as we know, you need guards.

It will shock you to learn that they were by far the best team in the 2nd best league this year. They beat Duke by like 25. Basketball is strange.

Edey is at 21/15 (7-11 from the field), and the rest of the team is 4-24 from 3. Gross.

I loved the FDU cheerleaders giving up any sense of organization and just losing their shit after that big bucket. Just a moment of real emotion.

That's ridiculous, you should be able to call a foul or at least overrule due to a hack. It should AT LEAST stay with FDU.

Gene’s 1000% right about conferences feeling much longer for the officials. They probably feel like they just had another halftime.

One of the flaws of instant replay. The official got the call wrong, but also missed a foul. Letting the initial call stand would’ve been closer to justice.
