I think it's pretty safe to say the problem was the fact that those OL were bad at football combined with the fact that they were even more bad at playing football at the position they were asked to play, more so than just the out of position thing.Moving offensive linemen out of position didn't exactly work out for them in the Super Bowl.
BB has them all on a Zoom call to streamline the process. Give it a sec.Surprising we haven't seen any of the big name WR come off the board yet?
Almost certainly, though we don't know exactly how much space we have left.Do we have the cap space for Golladay?
We likely still have around/over $20M.Do we have the cap space for Golladay?
Based on the reported numbers, we're looking at somewhere tween $30-35MM in space unless the contracts are all uncharacteristically front loaded. This doesn't account for the expected re-signing of RFA JC Jackson. We still also need a C.Almost certainly, though we don't know exactly how much space we have left.

I believe they're planning on restructuring both Clark and Kelce to alleviate more cap space.Cutting their starting tackles and restructuring the Mahomes deal netted them a ton of cap space.
That Frank Clark deal sticks out like a diseased thumb on their books.
For all the big talk the past 24 hours, the same old JetsLinsley and/or Thuney not on NYJ is tough
With all their cap space, what the hell are the Jets doing right now, anyway?Linsley and/or Thuney not on NYJ is tough
I don’t mind the overall wait and see approach but would have liked one of these fat guys. With all their cap space, what the hell are the Jets doing right now, anyway?
They’re gonna panic and pay someone like Golladay like he’s prime Julio Jones. With all their cap space, what the hell are the Jets doing right now, anyway?
Was this guy born after the Adalius Thomas signing?View: https://twitter.com/MikeTanier/status/1371510189103443968?s=20
Just a lazy tweet to get reactions.
Ugh, that hurts me as a Niners fan. Bourne is such a reliable third down and red zone receiver. He's also a great locker room guy.
Damn, he was my binky. Not really needed once we went with Judon, but I like Ngakoue alot.
In terms of fit (not contractually etc) this feels like it would be a very good under the radar move. The 49ers targeted him the second most in the red zone after Aiyuk last season and the season before last, he was also their second most targeted red zone receiver. He isn't a stud but he will help the WR corps if the Pats can get him.Ugh, that hurts me as a Niners fan. Bourne is such a reliable third down and red zone receiver. Or the Gilmore signing. Was this guy born after the Adalius Thomas signing?
The red zone point seems important since Bourne seems to have a similar profile as Jakobi Meyers...except he actually scores TDs. Was surprised to learn today that Meyers has never scored a TD, which seems crazy but less so when you remember he played a full season with Cam as his QB.In terms of fit (not contractually etc) this feels like it would be a very good under the radar move. I forget the exact stat but he’s one of only a few players to reach 1000 reception yards before 1 touchdown. And I think only player w 1000+ receiving yards, 0 receiving tds, 1+ passing tdThe red zone point seems important since Bourne seems to have a similar profile as Jakobi Meyers...except he actually scores TDs. Steep price for a backup/change of pace guy but he’s good and their stud is making $5.65/hour.
Sorry for you loss. This means nothing but my uncle’s funeral was today. He was a STH. My dad gave the eulogy. My dad said something about how he hoped that he’d have Bill’s ear from above today. Crazy what has transpired. I don’t make anything of it but I think it’s been a comfort to my dad.
You're half right. It means repeating, but I wouldn't say its particularly newSo I think I have seen a few tweets today about "Run it back" -- is that the new lingo for repeating?
Impossible to know, especially since we don't know what they've done on re-structures.Does anyone at this point have any idea how much cap space we have left? Or is it just impossible to know with so many details on the contracts unknown
That phrase has been around for as long as I can remember (e.g. playground pickup basketball). It just means to play it again with the same team members (or mostly the same core group in the case of a large NFL team). Whether you can repeat as champions - or even won a championship in the first place - is irrelevant. But it is used more often with teams which have had past success, for obvious reasons. So I think I have seen a few tweets today about "Run it back" -- is that the new lingo for repeating?
I’d rather have neither at those numbers but whatever man, it’s not my job to figure this shit out.Corey Davis to the Jets for 3/37.5M with 27M guaranteed.
I’d rather have Agholor at 2/26M.
I can't find it now, but I saw one of the beat reporters say they could have around ~$15M left.Does anyone at this point have any idea how much cap space we have left? Or is it just impossible to know with so many details on the contracts unknown
About $10m of that better go to Andrews.I can't find it now, but I saw one of the beat reporters say they could have around ~$15M left.
