Greg Allen played very well for NY as everyone remembers, a .849 OPS in 2021. What I didn't remember is that it was only 48 PAs, but he sure seemed to make a lot of big plays in that time.
So I checked his career splits by stadium, figuring he'd have good numbers at Yankee Stadium and that might be part of the reason why NY made this move. He does have a .822 career OPS there (46 PAs), but pretty fascinating where he has hit the best, these are his top three sorted by OPS.
Tropicana Field (TB): 1.039 OPS (18 PAs)
Fenway Park (BOS): 1.005 OPS (43 PAs)
Rogers Center (TOR): 1.000 (24 PAs)
And a .873 OPS in Camden Yards, although just 9 PAs.
All of those are pretty small sample size, but interesting nonetheless IMO. Overall Allen has just a .635 career OPS in 800 PAs, even with all those great AL East numbers.
