I'm pretty sure I've never witnessed Brad Hand NOT be terrible. I see his ERA and understand that he must do something good, but to my eyes he's just serving meatballs.

Drury's hit didn't get picked up statcast, but it seemed to be roughly 80-85mph, good launch angle, almost always a hit

This is already shaping up to be a great series. The only sad thing is one team isn't going to win. I'd rather this be the World Series.

I saw the 4-2 score and, given how the Padres offense had been going, thought they were in trouble. Glad to be wrong! I was in the car for this game unfortunately, but it was nice to arrive and see that the bats came alive. Should be a great weekend of ball in Philly this weekend.

I just realized that this NLCS is the battle of the top two free agents of 2018-19. Sometimes signing a future HoFer is a good idea! Sometimes.

I'll say it again - for those of us cable-cutters (which is what, 90% of the 18-34 yo demographic), not having the postseason on MLB.TV is a goddamn travesty. It's like asking for an extra $20 bucks to watch the season finale of a TV show.

Actually, it's even worse - I'd begrudgingly pay extra for access to the postseason. They don't even offer that as an option. It's like watching 6 seasons of a TV show and the network telling viewers they can either go to the bar down the street and finish up there or get fucked.

I'm watching online on the FS1 preview pass, which allows for an hour of content. When that runs out, I wait 5 minutes and open it up again for another hour of the game, and so on

But, then, I have no life

Nice, I'll have to check that out. I'm listening on the radio (Tony Gwynn Jr is an absolute joy to listen to) until I finish up at the office, then I'll try to convince the girlfriend to go to the bar down the street to watch a few innings. If not, I guess it's on to sailing the seven seas like the good old days.
