Not Lynn (or Ocean Side)
Remember the yellow line is unofficial. It may have been inaccurate.
No, it is not. Someone runs out there before each play and paints a line.

I though Barrett was just short of the 15, and as I recall the ref marked the nose of the ball just on the end zone side of the 15. It would have been nice to have a conclusive TV angle, because this is so much opining.

AR has the correct answer, but if it will help you get laid: if Penn State, Clemson, and UW all lose, then Bama, tOSU and Oklahoma are in, and Michigan has as good a shot as anyone at that 4th spot.

Found a video of 4th and 1... I think he made it although it's very close.

I thought the refs were pretty fair overall. The only eyebrow raiser for me was the defensed pass in OT, where the OSU defender hooked the WR's right arm. But I can see an argument that even that was incidental contact.

As an un-aligned fan, I was kinda rooting for Michigan, but if they wanted to win that game they shouldn't have committed two, arguably three total face-palm-grade turnovers.

What game were you watching!? Penalties were hugely lopsided, and there were some huge PI calls that were totally inconsistent

Of course you can and will mock Michigan fans for bitching about the zebras, but fact is, it WAS a very poorly imbalanced game from an officiating perspective. Not sure how you can reasonably deny that.
Pretty easily. None of the national commentators I have read (who aren't UM alums or affiliated) agree with you. You guys are whining again. It's your thing. Damn I wish WBV had gotten the one day reprieve. He was like the super concentrate of whiny bitch UM fan.

It's beyond laughable to think those refs weren't going to give tOSU the first down there at the 15; if they overturned that call, none of them would have made it out of the stadium alive, just like the refs who allowed the Franco Harris reception when it clearly bounced off one of the Steelers and they all knew it, aka the famous immaculate reception.

Fact is the Michigan player had him dead to rights, instead of taking out his knees, if he wraps him up, he tackles him short of the first down.

The whole college football world thought tOSU would blow Michigan out of the stadium; for most of the game, they got their asses handed to them, their kicker sucked, yet they pulled the game out of their collective asses thanks to two fucking God awful passes that got picked off. That boneheaded hands to the face penalty by the Michigan offensive lineman was a killer, wiped out a huge gain on that play.

Good for tOSU, I hate that school with the fire of 10,000 suns, I hope they get to the championship game so Alabama can curb stomp them and their douchebag "I'm leaving coaching to spend more time with my family and watch my daughters grow up, then come out of the ground when tOSU drops a dump truck full of money on my front lawn" coach.

Lots of people forgetting about the fumble at the goalline.

The better team lost, but the right team won.

I know you're an Ohio st fan or alum but I'm assuming you're nonetheless smart given your sosh membership...so maybe you need to pull your head out of your ass. The officiating was so lopsided:

- 7 penalties and 59 yards to 2 and 6
- missed hold on samuels wild run
- missed PI on first quarter when mich receiver was mugged
- PI called for osu when ball was gone and ten feet over wr's head
- missed PI on perry in ot

And you're dead fucking wrong about no one agreeing with me on the spot. There's literally a headline on CBS sports: "Michigan has legit beef with controversial spot on Ohio State's 4th-down conversion"

I know it's good to be a buckeye for the last several years but don't let it go to your head. Try not to be so fucking stupid.

Very well said. Michigan caught a couple tough breaks, but they've got to find a way to win this game.

That said, I think tOSU gets something less than full credit with voters for today's win. That doesn't matter if Michigan State wins, but I'm not sure their resume as it currently stands will land them in the top 4 if PSU wins.

Agree that Michigan should have never been in position to lose. The two picks and goal line fumble were killers.

But normally, when you're up 3 and stop your opponent on 4th-and-one in OT, you win the game regardless of whatever picks or missed FGs there were during regulation.

Ohio State has a three-point road loss to Penn State with a dominant road win over Oklahoma, a road win over Wisconsin and a win over Michigan. Who besides Alabama can beat that even in a best-case scenario?

I thought the spot was shit, too.

But the TOs were killer and a stout defense was baby-shit soft in OT (2 play TD drive? Yikes).

Fun game to watch, tough game to be a fan for.
