Scariest thing about BUF is they are shutting out IND without Dareus.  That DL is going to be a huge challenge next week.  Pats looked decent against PIT no name DL but Dareus/Kyle Williams is at least a couple notches above PIT.

Good thing the Colts took care of that run D in the off season.

Taylor has been in the league for 4 years.

Is anyone else a little uncomfortable about how the announcers have stressed, at least 6 times, that Taylor isn't a run first QB?

Not even remotely uncomfortable. How hard to you have to reach to see racism?

Anyway, Taylor also has 43 yards rushing and the Colts are twisting in knots trying to catch up to him. So not only was that not uncomfortable, but it seems the announcers don't know what they are talking about.

Colts are such front running frauds year in year out

It's amazing that Grigson has picked right where Polian left off in constructing a roster with great skill players and lousy D and O line play.  Unlike Polian, Grigson also likes to waste lots of cap room on medicore free agents.

They will still get 7 wins at home and beat up on their weak ass division which will give them their 11 wins and a home game.

Somewhere
This is the record the Colts will be chasing this season:

The 1978 Bills' run defense allowed an NFL record 3,228 rushing yards; the 677 rushing attempts the Bills faced in 1978 is also an NFL record.[3] Oddly, the Bills were first in the league in yards allowed on pass defense, giving up only 1,960 yards through the air.[4]
Remarkable to have a run defense so bad, opponents wouldn't even bother to pass it.

TY Hilton has 12 targets in the first half.  That's amazing.  Considering they are now playing from behind, he could realistically see over 25 targets today.  FTR, he has 6 catches for 83 yards.

Did teams really run on them as much as we might suspect?
I remember checking out a couple Colts vs. whoever games in the latter half of last season and being disappointed that other teams weren't just lining up and running it down their throats like the Patriots did.  How many teams are as flexible in their game plans as the pats?

Number 2 extra point is missed.

Who missed this one?

Like I said earlier, I'm just really surprised how little play this has gotten so far this pre-season.  It's going to be a really big deal.  There really aren't that many great kickers in the NFL this year.  For the bottom half of the kickers in the league, kicking a 33 yarder is nowhere near automatic, and I think it's made harder by the fact that it's kicked from dead straight on, as opposed to one of the hash marks.  You'll notice when teams are setting up a last second field goal from their kicker, they very rarely set it up in the middle of the field, because most kickers prefer to kick from either the left or right hash.

Anyway, just something to continue to watch.  I expect many more misses late in games and when the weather starts to get shittier.

Who started Taylor in their fantasy league?

I'm not near a TV. Why are the Dolphins sucking so bad? What happened to "team on the rise" . . . .

I thought offenses were allowed to spot the ball where they like on a try?

Seattle has huge short yardage problems. Beast mode useless.

The Dirty Mo'
Seeing a fair amount of poor d - line play around the league, in some cases from lines that were supposed to be awesome.

Jason Meyers on JAC.

And that play in the Skins game was PHENOMENAL.

Dropped pass on 2nd down by Matthews, leads to a third down strip sack fumble by Tannehill.  The little things that lead to upsets.
