Mariota is the real deal. Really fun watching him mature the last year and a half, and he's probably playing like a top 7 QB in the league the last 5 weeks or so.
Kudos to the Titans' FO for building an O-Line and running game to enable that success. I doubt he'd be enjoying similar success in Jacksonville or Tampa Bay.

Speaking of JAX, Bortles just threw his 10th career pick-6.

Kessler injured. Unnecessary roughness on Lawrence Timmons on the play. Edelman, Bennet and DION LEWIS, all active for Pats.

TD Dallas. Combining a blitz with big cushions in the secondary is not a good combination..

What happened to Jerry Jones' mantra "Tony Romo will be the starting quarterback for the Cowboys when he's healthy"? Somebody talk him out of it, or did he just come to his senses?

Jags D had been stellar today until that play.

Dak to Beasley for 17 and crucial first down.

Reasonable health + the defense they have = SB favorites in my book.

Too many weapons and their o-line will NOT get NY-Gianted in the playoffs.

Oh Jags. Jump off on the 4th down hard count.
Edit it was pretty clear that DET wasn't running a play too.
Basically cost his team any chance of winning.

Jags should've called timeout to conserve time anyway, which likely would've resulted in more disciplined D. So this falls in large part on Gus Bradley.

Not calling timeout was fine to me, get it back 2:30 and 2 timeouts. DET lined up with no RB and all WR tight. No chance they are running a play there.
Of course dumb decisions and bad discipline are Bradley's fault too.

Moving the Line
The Vikings became the first team with a 100-yard kickoff return for TD and 100-yard interception return for a TD in the same game since the 1962 Cowboys, who did so while winning 41-19 against the Eagles in Week 5.

Why arent the Giants declining this?

defensively, 3rd and 24 is better than 2nd and 29.

Is there any qb you'd less want running 2 minute in a close game than Jay Cutler?

sometimes the red zone kills me. roughing the passer penalty saves the game for the Cards (for the moment), but they flip away before see a replay (and I didn't flip fast enough to get it, alas).
