Mich back to losing. It feels right at this point

How am I more optimistic about Michigan's chances than the actual alum / fan?

Prob bc we've watched more games. This team makes so many mistakes in a typical game

That PI was so late. Basically waited for the OSU player to ask for the flag and said, "ok - here you go"

on the opposing 39 yard line.  4th and 14.  maybe you go for it?

edit: or kick away, touchback, gain 19 yards of field position.  Congratulations.

Can't go for it there bc gardner makes way too many mistakes. Very sack prone and then you give them the ball on the 50.

The solution is for the punter to kick the ball better so you give their backup qb bad field position

Still plenty of time for Michigan.  They should assume 80%+ runs from OSU.

This is where michigan's crappy coaching will come out. This team never wins a game like this...ever

God bless Dante Scarnecchia from keeping Tom Brady un-injured for 13 of his 14 years in the NFL.  You never appreciate that more than when seeing an important QB go down needlessly.

Even if you're 20% to convert, that gives you a great position from which to tie the game.  In the 80% chance you fail... well, you're exactly where they are now.  On the 50.

Fat guy touchdown alert, as Kentucky scoops up a Louisville fumble and gets the TD to take a 32-28 lead with 9:32 remaining.

UK just tried a halfback pass on the 2 pt conversion and offsetting penalties have them kicking to take a 33-28 lead.

Oh look, OSU going for it on 4th down on the opposition 44, despite being up 7.

I'm not rooting for them, but declaring them "better coached" seems like a pretty likely observation.

I'm honestly not sure it's even 10 pct.

I get that it's normally dumb to punt but I'm guessing you haven't watched Devin Gardner play all year. He seems like a great kid, but he's not an effective qb.

Yeah, Barrett. Thanks. If not for the post-it note left on my mirror at bedtime, I wouldn't remember my name in the morning.

I named a QB on the roster. Close enough for me
Well, to be fair, miller is toast too

Still glad they didn't roll those dice, twib?

edit: I mean, sometimes a screen pass on an overaggressive D-Line can gain 14.  It's not an impossibility.

Do you really need to watch this game to know that urban Meyer is a better coach than brady hoke?

Michigan isn't losing this game bc of a coaching decision. They are losing this game bc of a thousand cumulative coaching decisions. Michigan is a lousy team with a lousy coaching staff

Michigan's d has been good all year when nothing is on the line. As soon as they need a big stop, total no shows.

That's why I'm not a fan of letting gardner go for anything. That play is par for the course. The kid is an absolute turnover machine

Fitting finish to Gardner had Hoke's UM career.
Hoke's Michigan coaching tombstone will read: never developed a serviceable qb.

That Morris can't start over the train wreck gardner has become is pretty damning. And for some reason mich doesn't employ a qb coach

Wish I could watch that UGA-GT game.  If ESPN owns the SEC Network, how in the heck do I not get it with every other ESPN channel in my package?

Hopefully he is emailing someone who is good at coaching college football

"Dear Rex Ryan,

I know, right?  Totally unfair!  Listen, you should think about visiting sometime, we've got a great Italian restaurant here in town..."
