For like a solid minute. Is Aikman openly laughing at Joe Flacco?
He used to be a lot better than this in fairnessStill can’t believe this guy nearly won 4 playoff games in Foxboro
I’ll never accept this...but yeahHe used to be a lot better than this in fairness
The Rams still have first round picks in 2024, 2025. Get it done!Denver needs to strongly consider a fire sale. Von Miller looked miserable on the sidelines.
I am just reposting because this is brilliant. Post of 2019 candidate.View attachment 26326
Ouch, my kneecap is out of place! Let's slide it back into place by gently extending the knee and applying pressure. We can get an x-ray to look for fractures and an MRI for possible tendon damage in a day or two, but I am probably fine.

Holy fuck my entire knee joint has dislocated! All of the nerves and blood vessels behind the knee are at high risk of severe damage! I need a CT scan of the blood vessels of my leg immediately and almost certainly have one or more ligament injuries.
Bravo, indeed!I am just reposting because this is brilliant. Post of 2019 candidate.
I missed it because I was having a delightful steak dinner at Harris. And man, am I glad I did. Both games look like they suuuuuuuucked.Nope, not going to even make it to the end of the possession Where's Oldfarttree. Let's go Cardinal.
Fuck, it's halftime. 10 more minutes of this shitshow, I guess.
it was fantastic.I am just reposting because this is brilliant. Post of 2019 candidate.
Why? Rodgers isn't even top 5 any moreHuge bummer we don't get a Mahomes/Rodgers game until 2023 now. Maybe never.
Indeed, Rodgers at present is arguably not even in the Top 10. He's currently ranked 20th in passer rating. Why? Rodgers isn't even top 5 any more
Carolina would be crazy to play Cam. It's overplayed, but man if that isn't a Ewing Theory candidate I don't know what is.Indeed, Rodgers at present is arguably not even in the Top 10. He's currently ranked 20th in passer rating.
After looking up the rating stats, I am amazed to see Kyle Allen ranked 5th, with a rating above 100.(106.6) Cam at 32nd, with a rating of 71.
Life comes at you fast.
edit - and Baker Mayfield basically has the same rating as. . . .Luke Falk. Holy cow has he fucking sucked this year. That's abysmal. Bad coaching or not, he's been horrendous. Smallish sample size, but also not, 37% of the season is in the books for them.
Seriously? You want to know why it would disappointing for 2 generational quarterbacks to never play against each other? Why? Rodgers isn't even top 5 any more
Meh. I don't consider Rodgers generational.Seriously? You want to know why it would disappointing for 2 generational quarterbacks to never play against each other?
Why not? Statistically, he absolutely is.Meh. I don't consider Rodgers generational.
I dunno. Didn't have a very long peak, only wen to 1 SB. I dunno. Why not? Statistically, he absolutely is.
He's definitely been generational. He's not Eli.Meh. I don't consider Rodgers generational.
Yeah--only 61 QBs have ever started a SB. Only 30 (I think) have won a SB. Going to 1 and winning 1, on top of his numbers, burnishes his legacy. He's definitely been generational. He's not Eli.
edit - only 20 quarterbacks in the history of the NFL have started at least two super bowls. Rodgers winning only one doesn't tarnish his legacy.
Rodgers has the highest QB rating in the history of the NFL.I think you have to define generational. You talking the single best of his generation or one of the several best players over some period? The term generational talent gets thrown around entirely too much. Clearly the last 20 years have been owned by Brady (and Manning).
The weird thing is that a lot of Rodgers' rep for being great / generational is based on that stats ... but his last great statistical season was in 2014.Rodgers has the highest QB rating in the history of the NFL.
How is that for generational?
Were you up at 8 a.m. single-finger typing on a keyboard to come up with that?Rodgers has the highest QB rating in the history of the NFL.
How is that for generational?
8am? I sent it at 11:30am. I just happened to look it up, because I knew he was ranked high on the rating scale and we were talking about it. I didn't even know he was number 1. All time. Were you up at 8 a.m. single-finger typing on a keyboard to come up with that?
Yeah this is my line of thinking. Wilson and of course Mahomes have that potential. How many "generational" talents can an era have? Pre-Brady (1980-2000?) had...Montana, Elway, Aikman, Marino, Young, Moon, Kelly. How many of them would you consider to be generational? Montana, Elway and Marino?
Post-Brady (2000-2020?), you have Favre, Brady, Manning, Brees, Rodgers, Big Ben, Rivers, Warner, Luck, Ryan, Wilson. How many can be considered generational before it loses its meaning? 3? 4? I would say the current crop would be Brady and Manning. The rest are franchise faces (with Wilson possibly leading the next generational pack)
Note to self: Don't cross the streams8am? I sent it at 11:30am. I just happened to look it up, because I knew he was ranked high on the rating scale and we were talking about it. I didn't even know he was number 1. All time.
Just a brief repeat, he's number One all time in the Quarterback rating stat. That's generational. You can say that stat has its flaws, and it does, but I'm not saying Rodgers is the best of all time. But he is generational.
Well, I wouldn't put Luck or Ryan on that list to start with.Post-Brady (2000-2020?), you have Favre, Brady, Manning, Brees, Rodgers, Big Ben, Rivers, Warner, Luck, Ryan, Wilson. I agree, I was just throwing out all those who have may have had claim to being a top-5 QB in multiple seasons.Well, I wouldn't put Luck or Ryan on that list to start with.
You have to wonder how this will affect him though, physically and mentally, with his scrambling.Sounds like Mahomes only expected to miss 3 games. Great news.
Have to think there will be far less scrambling and improvising. You have to wonder how this will affect him though, physically and mentally, with his scrambling.
Glad he's okay though, he's fun.
Good point heard on the Rich Eisen radio show this morning:Sounds like Mahomes only expected to miss 3 games. Great news.
I wouldn't, nor would most rational people. However, not sure how rational the KC coaching staff is.Good point heard on the Rich Eisen radio show this morning:
The fourth game from now is the Chargers on a questionable field in Mexico, then the Chiefs have their bye
With so much invested in the kid long-term, do you risk him in that fourth game?
seems insane to me they wouldn’t hold him out 4 with the bye week following.Sounds like Mahomes only expected to miss 3 games. Great news.
No way in hell do I risk him. That decision may ultimately rest on how they do without him.Good point heard on the Rich Eisen radio show this morning:

They can try that, though more often I see a combination of these 3:Interesting.
What would a surgery entail? Making the groove in which the patella rests deeper?
I assure you, you never see this kind of analysis at chiefsplanet.comThey can try that, though more often I see a combination of these 3:
1. Cut lateral patellar retinaculum (lateral ligaments) to avoid this "pull" on the patella to the outside of the knee
2. Repair medial ligaments (MPFL) to stabilize inside of knee and prevent patella from dislocating to outside of the knee again
3. Re-align the tracking of the patella, as often the patellar tendon in these patients inserts too far on the outside of the shin bone and pulls kneecap outward. If you move the tendon insertion closer to the direct front of the shin bone, it's much harder to dislocate the patella laterally.
For what its worth, Maholmes always seem to run a bit knock-kneed to me, I bet he has some abnormal patellofemoral alignment in the background predisposing him to this they will address in the offseason (if it can wait).
Post it there as a public service? Or would it just scare / confuse the locals?I assure you, you never see this kind of analysis at chiefsplanet.com
Thank you, RSF.
This is my exact condition with my knees. More so on the right than left. I’ve fully dislocated my right patella twice and had multiple subluxations in each. (A subluxation is when the patella slips out and then returns, as opposed to a full dislocation)A few weeks and he can probably give it another go. The problem is that this almost never happens in a relatively minor trauma without an underlying structural problem with your knee. The patella sits in a groove at the distal femur, and if this groove is not deep enough, the patella is more likely to slip out
The last sentence is the part that has surprised me the most. I had one classmates in grade school and another in High school who had recurring issues with this. They both have had multiple surgeries to address it.This is my exact condition with my knees. More so on the right than left. I was “diagnosed” with the shallow grooves.
With no ligament damage., his biggest issue will be swelling, range of motion and instability of the patella.
I’m sure a professional training staff will have him ready quicker than I ever was (mine were always like 6 weeks until I felt close to 100%)
If he does have “shallow” grooves, he’s been really lucky to not have had this happen previously in his career so maybe this was just bad luck.
