SD may be the only team entirely unafraid to play in Denver AND with a solid basis for feeling that way. They have had success there and seem to relish the challenge.

Really? Why would the Patriots be afraid of Denver? But I'll agree those are the two teams in the AFC that face them not only hping they can win, but knowing so.

All this proves is that the NFL reps are all inconsistent and don't know what the fuck they're doing.

Historically the Patriots have had a rough go of it IN Denver.

There's no way of knowing for certain if the ball was moving before the elbow touched. Can't believe they overturned that, no conclusive evidence.
There was conclusive evidence looking at the frames. Ball was definitely moving before the forearm hit.

Shocked that a borderline call went in Manning's favor.
I'm sorry, but there is substance to this.

I hope it infuriates the Chargers.

I mean, I would've been fine with it if he were ruled down and they didn't see enough to overturn it.  But there's no way there is clear visual evidence that his forearm was down before the ball started coming out.  That's flat-out an objectively false claim.

As if they need the help. Good Christ. The spirit of David Stern is alive and well. You don't have to tell the refs -- they know it intuitively

88 yard td pass for UConn.  Tied back up 21-21.  East Carolina doing everything they can to get upset today.  Second big pass play of the half, in which the ECU defender fell down.  Would probably be the biggest win in Huskies football history if they pulled this off.

Wrong thread but no that would be beating Notre Dame.

Too bad for the Chargers.  Probably would be leading at halftime.    Sanders pretty much makes Welker irrelevant, nice route

Murf, that was certainly a big win, but that Notre Dame team was not NOTRE DAME.  They had 6 wins that year.  IIRC, that game was the Irish's third loss in a row too.  East Carolina is currently ranked 18 in the country and have an inside track on one of the 6 New Year's bowl games.  I'd probably give that the Notre Dame win was probably bigger for the program and certainly more important as far as a national stage, but on strictly football terms, I think this one would be more impressive, especially considering how bad UConn is this year.

And don't look now, but UConn might be going back in for the leading score.  I just turned it back on, and it's in commercial, but online, it's showing them inside the five.

Edit:  It was wrong online.  UConn has the ball at the ECU 45 or so.

Wouldn't that be beating USF to get to the fiesta bowl? most unlikely win maybe, but surely not biggest in what's already a lost season

“@ProFootballTalk: Went back and watched it again. Ball is coming loose when forearm hits ground. Not nearly enough evidence to overturn ruling on the field.”

“@footballzebras: Replay call: @DeanBlandino On the fumble that was reversed the forearm was down before ball came loose. Forearm down before elbow”
