Graham just hurdled a defender on a 19-yard catch and run. He's riding an endorphin rush and ain't looking back.
That's on Brees. He saw that his fullback was going to pick up the rusher, but he gave him almost no room to hold the block. When the fullback got pushed backwards like a foot, he got so close to Brees that his own hand hit the ball out of Brees' hand. Drew has to step back a foot or two from where the blocker was setting up so something like that doesn't happen.

They don't have much cap space next year. Charles Johnson is owed $20 MM, $14 MM dead. Ryan Kalil, Jonathan Stewart, and DeAngelo Williams combine for about $27 MM in cap space but they don't save money by cutting any of them. Seriously, I think Newton's popular rating matches how good he actually is. I would think he's generally considered pretty good but not elite, which I think is accurate. He has a pretty brutal supporting cast this year but is still putting up respectable numbers.
For someone who gets tackled so often, I can't believe how badly Newton braces himself when he's landing. His hands and wrists are going to be a mess.
